With the left side of the Astros infield weaker than a punch bowl at a BYU alumni meeting, I think the Astros should get a top flight 3rd baseman. Sorry, I just don't have that much confidence in the immortal Geoff Blum. According to ESPN insider, San Francisco Giants 3rd baseman David Bell has an out clause on his contract and can be a free agent at the end of the year. He is a real winner. The Seattle Mariners really missed him this year. Another possibility is the all-star 3rd baseman from Florida, Mike Lowell. They are looking to drop salary (what a surprise!). What do you guys think?
