I'm so sick of seeing all the different ways people are trying to flame everyone within the organization. I get it, you're mad but don't go crazy with your criticisms. I know a lot of you will scoff at this tread and want to post what is wrong with what everyone says but PLEASE DON'T. Go do that in one of the other 9283912381923 negative threads. I swear, reading the GARM lately makes me want to take myself out back and shoot myself in the head.

I'm modeling this tread off of that hippie sports personality that comes on the radio at 2 in the morning.

What do you like about any member of this team? What do you like about the organization? About Les, CD, Daryl or Jeff? Did you like what you saw from Battier or the progress that Head made? How will those flow into next year? How much further can Hayes and Head develop?

I'll start. I think we are starting to see the beginning of a great crowd around our superstars. Battier and Head are guys you see on teams like Detroit, those great LA teams of a few years ago and to a greater extent Phoenix. Hayes might become something great but we'll see. We had to retool after we assembled a great bunch 2 years ago in Mike James, Job Barry and Bob Sura but I see no reason why we can't do that again. These stat gms are suppose to find undervalued players that would be easier to acquire that can come in and play really well so hopefully that new guy will do just that. Yao was playing like a MVP earlier this year. Everyone was talking about him for MVP. Can you imagine what it will be like to have that for a full season? He is faster than people give him credit but the leg injury took that speed away for half the season. Next year he'll have things back in gear without that stupid toenail.

I think it's a good group, I think Les, CD, Morey, Lindsey are all good people who want to win.

Yao, Battier, T-Mac, Alston, Howard and Deke are all really likeable guys and I really want them to do well more than my normal fandom.

The Rockets treat me well as a season ticket holder and I really think we are close and even though I am still hurting I am very much so looking forward to what next season will bring.

    Like? I love the Rockets.

For me it is every victory and when someone does something special, TMac posterizing or the ridiculous SA comeback, Yao getting 30+ points and 10

Yao telling the Clips "you can't stop me"

I love those Rocket highlights and wins most of all.

They always end the season early so I can spend more time outside in the nice weather.

    Yao Tracy and Shane.

All great players and great people, if you going to root for a team you can't ask for better people.

This team is a few pieces away from getting into the up echelon of the NBA.

I love the style of coaching we get from JVG...defense wins.
I love T-Mac, Yao, Battier, Head and Alston...a very nice nucleus.
I love the 50 win season and being one of the top defensive teams in the league.

You know it's easy to over-react after a dissapointing loss at home in game 7, (who loses game 7 at home?). But I feel we have a team that can challange for the title next year and maybe for a few years if we don't do anything stupid like fire JVG or make wholesale changes to personnel

I love that Yao got another much improved season. He still has so much room to get better.

I love that TMac's back didn't bother him like in 05/06 season, that's a miracle.

I love that I saved 50% on my car insurance by switching to Geico.

Oh yeah, the TMax-Yao thing is good too.

I love that they are from Houston.

Besides that this team still has potential. Yao and T-Mac can still dominate, I wish they would do it more consistently, and Battier is a great fundamental basketball player. I think this team can get to the next level but it will take some more tweaking of the roster and coaching staff.

I liked the camaraderie of the ballclub. The chemistry was solid.

I also like the foundation they've laid in place with Yao and T-Mac. Of course, we're 3 years into this tandem's run and haven't accomplished zip. So the clock's ticking.

Still, I do believe we're not far from being a legit contender. It's up to the front office and whoever coaches next season to put the finishing touches on this roster so we can get to that level.

I really love our road unis. So glad we finally brought the red back and got rid of those God damned dildo PJs.

I would like the team a lot better if we could find a player who could consistently take the ball to the basket.

I love Rockets and enjoy to watch:

    Tmac hit his jump consistently.
Head, Rafer, Battier hit their 3s.
    Tmac's missile like pass.
    Yao's jump shot and hit.
Battier, hayes' flop and make other teams O foul.

    Vspan steal the ball.
    Novak hit the 3s

    Deke block the shots.

Sentimentality aside I think the team, if it was considered a contender, made a bad smell .
I like the potential of Yao Ming and Tracy Mc Grady,
As people I like Les Alexander, CD and JVG.
I do not like Rafer as the starting Point Guard, he isn't a playmaker
I don't like Howard, Mutombo, Sura, Way past it
I like the big improvement made by Chuck Hayes , but not as a starter.
I like Battier as a quality person but would have rather have had Rudy Gay for team development and have made a second trade with Stromile Swift.
I am glad that Mike James turned us down.
I have hopes that Morey will lessen the degree of the many mistakes made by Rockets Management over many years.
    Our Scouts also smell bad.
I do not like JVG's style of coaching and his limitations are not worthy of being the head Coach of the Rockets
I didn't like the idea of 'Win Now' and I am glad that it is over with!!
The Rockets Management and the Houston Chronicle Sports Writers need to know that it is a sin to tell a lie.
I think that in general the team is too short and too slow:p
