Hello all! This will be my first post ever here in clutchcity.net and i am very excited! I have been reading clutchcity for about two years now and i have to say this is a very well-run fan site! My thanks go to clutch and all the other people who have major influences here. (Jeff for example) Thank you for keeping this site classy and fan oriented!
    Well now to the Rockets:
With the newly aqcuired(sp?) Posey we have a defensive specialist that can guard Small Forwards or shooting guards! He can stay with guards like Kobe and T-Mac, he may not be able to stop them, but he will do as good a job as anyone else in the league can! But my question is do you all like this trade? Losing Kenny hurts us in the immediate future because he was a hard worker and our only real defensive low post player. He was also a well liked player in Houston and I hope the team chemistry does not get hurt.
I personally like this trade because Eddie will now get his chance to prove himself! I love Eddie and i think he will step up his play with this new trade! Thank you all for reading and God bless.

What year & at what number did Posey get drafted. It's 1st rounder (single digits) for 1st rounder (20 something) right!

Posey at 18 KT at 20 Here is what they had to say draft night 1999 Denver (from Milwaukee via Danny Fortson trade): James Posey (Xavier) 6-8/216
Some teams have compared him to Scottie Pippen. He looks pretty good. I thought he could be a surprise and go higher, but this is about where he deserves to go. The Nuggets got their runner up pick to Trajan Langdon. Denver signed him to a 3 year, $2.558 million contract with a 4th year worth $1.116 million at the team's option.

    Posey's Stats
    PPG RPG APG
    Rookie 8.2 3.9 1.8
    2000-01 8.1 5.3 2.0
    2001-02 10.7 5.9 2.5
    Career (thru 2002) 8.9 5.0 2.1

There's the pretty much same poll on the front page of this website, and it's 67% yes, 20% undecided, and 12% no.
