heard that posey will not settle for the mid level.....do the rockets have any interest or priority on re-signing him?

i think he is a key element to our success next year

If posey thinks he's hot ****, he needs to prove it.

Right now he's nothing more than a glorified Rick Fox.

If he wants to stick it to our pocket books, let him walk.. he'll come crawling back when we're chasing a ring.

JPo will sign for MCE, or less...hopefully in Roxland. He can dream 'max', but he can spend MCE!

Morris can do everything Posey does with the added bonus of being able to hit a jump shot...

If Posey asks for more than the MCE, we should just stick with Terrence Morris.

However, I think we'd miss his fastbreak points and mediocre defense.

Posey...I think we really need him. But no more than $3,000,000 for him. Man...he should just accept $1,000,000. Just MCE or whatever. But not too much. I really hope he stays...and improves his shooting in the summer.

Posey can do everything Morris can does with the added bonus of energy, defense, hustle, emotion, and teammate support...

    ;)

    Morris doesn't talk.

Posey only really has shooting to work on. I just love his play. I just hope he's not that greedy.

Posey can also handle the ball a bit, run the fast break, and deliver a decent entry pass to Yao. Has Morris ever driven to the basket for a layup?

Actually...yes. He has...but he missed the layup. :)

He has a good midrange shot...Morris does...but can't make anything close to the basket. I still hope we keep Morris too for the minimum.

    ditto that, Mr. Clutch.

However, TMo might develop if given the chance. His midrange shot looks fairly decent, but he doesn't play with the obvious energy or fire of Posey. Until proven otherwise, Tmo is a very good 10th man on the squad.

    LOL, well 0-1 isn't that bad. ;)

I think we should keep Morris too. But Posey is a true starter. He can play 40 minutes a game and not disappear. Unlike Mobley, who seems to play on one side of the court at a time. Whenever he had a good defensive game he would have like 5 points. But when he scored 30 points, he played no D. Posey will give energy on both sides at all times.

Agreed, I don't mean to bash on TMo. I just hope we resign Posey.

anyone else think that posey and hawk can rotate at the 2 spot and get rid of you know who

we would get defense and intensity from that position for 48 minutes,,,and scoring would just be an added bonus

according to Patricia's contract info the Rockets own a team option on Posey for this year.

If this is true then there is no need to negotiate, just extend his current contract for this year.
