    GET IN ON IT?

I don't want Damon Stoudamire! That pothead!

    He's a good player though actually....but makes 12 million.

I don't think any team is going to offer much for him..

Maybe the best place for him to go is Utah for nothing. That's actually kinda good for Portland since they reduce their huge payroll and have other guys that can play point guard.

This is the thing from the article:

The Blazers were rumored to have nixed a trade last week that would have sent Damon Stoudamire, Arvydas Sabonis and Bonzi Wells to Dallas for Michael Finley, Raef LaFrentz and Nick Van Exel. Nash would not confirm that rumor, but he did say that Dallas has been a team with which he has talked trade

The "Blazers" nixed that deal!? Seems more like Dallas would nix that deal. Stoudamire is horribly overpaid and unreliable, Sabonis is on his last legs, Wells is solid but has character issues. What would Dallas gain here? Sabonis? I would not trade Finley and NVE for those guys. Raef for Sabonis is a good move for Dallas but not for the other guys.

    this has to be bs!
i couldnt ever imagine dallas agreeing to that one. and than to not be the one backing out of it.
the raef for sabonis is the only aspect where dallas isnt getting screwed.

however, as a midwest division rival, i say go for it BIG D! that would be a solid move.

Agreed, absolutely ridiculous that Portland would walk away from that.

This trade makes no sense to me either. If it was Wallace instead of Wells, then I could see it because of the Mavs lack of low-post scoring, but Finley and Van Exel for just Wells...give me a break! Wells isn't that much better than Finley to start with.

Portland would have had to have been on crack if that rumor was true and they nixed it! If the Rockets get involved in a deal like that I would like for them to get Rasheed Wallace or something like that. Preferably we need a SF, I would love for the Rockets to get a SF and maybe Dale Davis if they can't get someone like Sheed or something.

Not picking on you, I just get tired of hearing the same thing about this or any site for that matter. With RealGM, 2 things immediately come to mind:

Throw enough **** at the wall something will stick.

Sun shines on every dogs ass once.

There is so much crap floated out there by them and every other site like them b/c they want to get as many people to the site as they can.

For every true rumor you can tell us from RealGM, any person who reads it on a regular basis can likely produce 50 rumors that were just a load of crap.

If we actually had something to offer, that would be good, but dealing with Portland, we don't. They have a sf of now and the future with Woods or Wallace. They have 2pg's,2sg,and just about 2 of eveything else. They have guys with bloated contracts or guys with rookie contracts. The only way we can get into the mix with them is via Francis or Ming, thats it.
