    First trade of draft:

Andy Katz says Portland has traded Sebastian Telfair to Celtics for 7th pick...

Portland now has pick 4 and 7...

    Blazers and Celtics make trade

    just saw it on espnnews.

Portland trades Telfair to Celtics for 7th pick and players to be named, this changes the draft considerably.

Wow yep just heard on ESPN Radio. This gives Portland two of the top 7 and I have no idea why Ainge and the Celtics would do this.

Also just heard that this could become part of a bigger picture on the part of the Celtics to obtain Iverson.

No shot at Roy now unless the Hawks take him for us. Portland loves Roy.

FYI: Another dumb move by Ainge. Even in this draft, Telfair isn't worth #7.

You know what I like about this? Portland will NOT draft Rudy Gay. His work ethic has been questioned too much lately. They're desperately seeking hard-working solid citizens that will bring the fans back. I could definitely see them picking both Morrison and Roy if they're both available at 4 & 7. They'll get at least one of those guys. Both of them fit the bill they're looking for and to top it off they both come from schools in the same region.

I guess Rudy gay could still potentially fall to us right?

I see the blazers drafting Aldridge or Thomas at #4 if they are their and scooping up Roy or Foye at #7.

It may be better that it's Portland getting the seven rather than Philly or someone else.

With Portland already at #4, they may be easier for the Rockets to deal with than another team for whom #7 would be their first pick of the night.

The only thing the rockets could do now was make some sort of deal with the Timberwolves and leapfrog the Blazers at #7.

Really to me it depends on Minnesota now. Do they grab Foye with their pick or Brandon Roy? If the grab Foye, then Gay drops to us. If they grab Roy, then I doubt Portland takes Foye over Gay.

at least with the celtics randy foye or marcus williams would've been an option. no points are going in the top 7 now.
