Portland trades: PF Zach Randolph (8.4 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 0.5 apg in 16.9 minutes)
PG Antonio Daniels (3.8 ppg, 1.1 rpg, 1.3 apg in 13.0 minutes)

SG Cuttino Mobley (17.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.9 apg in 73 games)

Change in team outlook: +3.5 ppg, +1.2 rpg, and -1.7 apg.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Houston and Portland being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Houston and Portland had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Portland got some bad chemistry in their team, and maybe they want to deal Zach Randolph after he punched Patterson in practice not long ago. Daniels doesn't do much for them and should be valid target for Rox as a solid backup PG. The question is, do they want to trade Anderson for Mobley but it's not a dumb deal for any of the teams. If Portland is swept by Dallas, a deal like this could be reality.

Houston didn't make the playoffs, and this is a good trade for them. Daniels to backup Francis. Anderson as starting SG. And Randolph and Griffin to share the PF position. Randolph is a great offensive player and can beat anyone offensively. But the question is his D. But I think a deal like this could do wonders to the ROX.
    What do y'all think?

Hey man...this trade actually sounds good. I'd pull the trigger on this one. Daniels and Anderson are both high-flying explosive players, who never get playing time. Good one!

I like this a lot. Why would Portland take Mo Taylor? Are they just nice guys?

it will probably take mobley/griffin/cato for zach/mcginnis/anderson . Id do it. Our team has the worst chemistry I have ever seen in my life. Something better be done.

However,I think we will trade for brand/odom/dooling by giving away francis/grif/mobley.Just kidding. I have no idea.:)

I called the miss cleo hotline. She said we will trade griffin/rice for 'shard lewis and mobley for kwame.:)

my god, Mobley and Bonzi Wells in the same backcourt in Portland? They will have to run scrimmages with two balls in play at the same time.

They will take on Mo-T to use him as a spark of the bench, like we do. And like they use Zach now. They could put up a big line-up with Sheed at three.

    Nice trade.

Why didn't Daniels get any PT this year? He was a pretty solid guard when he was in San An.

kudos! This is one of the few deals that does make sense for both teams. I hate to lose Mobes, but if we could turn him into a backup pg in Daniels (no Mooch!) and a starting 2 in Anderson I'd have to do it. Randolph might be asking too much since he has produced when given time but since they don't have much to give him they might do it (and they are getting Mo).

Daniels is too much of a combo guard.

I'd love to get Jeff McInnis and/or Derek Anderson form them. Those 2 guys are perfect for this team. Derek Anderson averaged 4+ assists from the SG position, while playing off the ball a lot. Jeff McInnis has a great contract and a brilliant asst:to ratio. He's also able to hit the 3, and has good veteran experience.

    A backcourt of

    Anderson/Francis
    Francis/McInnis

Would make me very very very happy.

I've wanted Randolph since I saw him at the RMR summer before last. I would trade Eddie straight up for him. He is a true power forward that bangs, rebounds and has great footwork under the basket. His size and strength make him hard to back in on.

I wonder if Daniels & Anderson are looking to come back to Texas.

I would do that trade, DA is better than Mobley, Daniels was good on the Spurs. I don't think they would trade Randolph and I'm not that high on him anyway. How about this trade?

Houston trades: PF Maurice Taylor (8.4 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg in 20.6 minutes)
SG Cuttino Mobley (17.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.9 apg in 41.7 minutes)
PF Jason Collier (2.8 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 0.1 apg in 8.0 minutes)
Houston receives: PG Jeff McInnis (5.8 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 2.3 apg in 17.5 minutes)
PG Antonio Daniels (3.8 ppg, 1.1 rpg, 1.3 apg in 13.0 minutes)
SG Derek Anderson (13.9 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 4.3 apg in 33.6 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -5.2 ppg, -4.0 rpg, and +3.9 apg.

Portland trades: PG Jeff McInnis (5.8 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 2.3 apg in 17.5 minutes)
PG Antonio Daniels (3.8 ppg, 1.1 rpg, 1.3 apg in 13.0 minutes)
SG Derek Anderson (13.9 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 4.3 apg in 33.6 minutes)
Portland receives: PF Maurice Taylor (8.4 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg in 67 games)
SG Cuttino Mobley (17.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.9 apg in 73 games)
PF Jason Collier (2.8 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 0.1 apg in 13 games)
Change in team outlook: +5.2 ppg, +4.0 rpg, and -3.9 apg.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

Making trades like you propose ..would create more question marks than the Rockets already have. Its unlikely the Rockets would make any trade that didnt bring in key veteran leadership.

    Anderson and Daniels are vets.
The question mark is Zach, but I personally think he has proven himself this season. And I think Zach can do wonders, and really blossom in Houston.

    Wait...now it's a great trade?

Wasn't it a few weeks ago when Zach Randolph punched one of his teammates in the eye?!? Haha...

    ANYWAYS. SURE!

    I would do it.

    Steve Francis/Antonio Daniels/Moochie Norris
    Derek Anderson/James Posey/Juaquin Hawkins
    Bostjan Nachbar/James Posey/Glen Rice
    Eddie Griffin/Zach Randolph
    Yao Ming/Kelvin Cato

Heh. Don't know if Portland would do it though.

    Damon Stoudamire/Jeff McInnis
    Bonzi Wells/Cuttino Mobley
    Scottie Pippen maybe/Qytel Woods/Ruben Patterson/Terence Morris
    Rasheed Wallace/Maurice Taylor
    Dale Davis/Sabonis maybe

It wouldn't do wonders for our team. But man..our team would be really improved. WHOOO. I'd go for it.

Then trade Eddie, Zach, Bostjan, and Glen and a 1st ronder for Elton Brand and Corey Maggette. :D

I don't think Portland will want to move Derek Anderson. He's one of the good guys on the team, and will probably be one they keep when they rework the team this summer.
