Pops is playing 5 minutes per game in Raptors uniform. Yes, we gave up a dominant center. Blame Morey, blame Rick, blame Lesley. we should give him 10m per year in the next offseason
I still don't know why the rocks cut him. They haven't sign anybody to take his spot. I know its not saying much, but he was way better then Dorsey
I knew this was coming.. Von Wafer, Gerald Green, James White, Pops.. what do they all have in common? Athleticism.. Dont be jaded by all the awesome plays.. He brought little to the Rockets and didn't play much anyway.. Great guy, nice player, nice PLAY, get over it.
Yeah because Pops is getting a lot of minutes in Toronto. If he was that great he would be getting a lot of minutes in Toronto. If he was that good some team would have picked him up as a key addition to their rotation. I like Pops but it's not the end of our Franchise for getting rid of him.
Getting rid of pops is nothing at all. Would you rather take minutes from Scola Landry or Chuck? Plus DA can actually score on his own which is something Pops can't do, he is a complete after thought. But I agree he is better than Dorsey but thats not saying much.
The only PF Pops could have displaced was Dorsey. But Dorsey had a contract. So too bad. Anyway, neither Dorsey nor Pops will amount to anything in the NBA.
This was Ariza's average game. The game was played to early. Our whole team was thrown off and couldnt adjust.
How many dinga impostors do we have now? Any player that leaves Houston ends being a Rocket killer. Luther Head can tell you all about it.
Bollocks. Dude was getting and wouldn't get any playing time, here, Houston did him a favor aside from not doing it sooner because he'd just be lounging on the bench with Brian Cook eating away Leslie's money. I liked Pops but seriously the boy's release was mainly because we didn't need him and because Morey likes to have room on the Roster to do stuff.
