After seeing ads for that lil wayne, young jeezy, and soulja boy concert in August, I started thinking about this.

Who is on your list of biggest 'popcorn' rappers?

I think after soulja boy got so big with all that stupid music, he became #1 on my list.

What do you mean by "your #1"?

    They all suck.

    Backpackers FTW.

Is a popcorn rapper the same thing as a bubblegum rapper?

Ditto for me but I am familiar with "Popcorn Love" by New Edition. Maybe Popcorn rappers, Blake, are those rappers that are influenced by New Edition but only the version that was being managed by Maurice Starr.

I like the old school popcorn rappers that you used to put on your stove top and they would get real big.

Another way of putting it would be candy-coated, fakeass studio gangstas. In which case you could say Soulja Boy tops that list.

If the only rap music you've ever heard is on the mainstream radio/MTV, then yes. Otherwise, I beg to differ.

Jeezy's the most underrated out of all them and I thought The Recession was a better album than Tha Carter III but I'm sure most would disagree. :)
