It seems Rockets fans are pretty divided on this, let's put it to a vote. We'll assume he'd be signed to a max contract.

Need more options. I want him back but not for the max. Hometown discount.

I said to assume it's at a maximum contract. It sounds like you are a no.

Absolutely. 2nd best rocket of all time. No question.

plenty of money, great roster fit, best available player, and works for both immediate improvement and future development.

2 year max contract sure. I dont want to go 4 years unless its at a discount or including team options.

I also want us taking a pg (unless we pick #1) to develop behind him fir a year or two.

don't want to give a 4 year max (but i'd rather do that then sign FVV or middleton), and if we pick 2nd i also wouldn't sign him, let scoot and jalen develop together

Thats why I said your poll needed more options. With all due respect. It was a decent attempt.

The option of Harden coming back at a hometown discount doesn't exist in reality nor in this poll.

Yes . He is the best option out there. Second best playmaker after Jokic. Will make life easier for green and teach Jabari how versify his pick and roll game. I can see lots of lobs for Jabari Smith and Wemby will get a ton of open of looks.

Will speed up the growth period and drag them into the play in or playoffs and give them a taste of the playoffs for them to learn how to win

I don't know about a four year max, but we're a last place team, you absolutely sign him.

James Harden can live in Houston 24 seven as far as I’m concerned I just don’t want him playing on my basketball team anymore

It's weird that a guy who has done so much for the city of Houston is a loser. Out of curiosity what have you done? Have you helped those in need? Harden as a person is incredibly easy to root for.

We're just not good enough. This situation is crazy. It's something that I don't think Harden can fix.

    Depends
Moses won 2 MVPS in Houston to Hardens 1 and at least got us a Finals birth and when he went to team up with someone off the Rockets, he still won another MVP and got his ring and FMVP while Harden would have been 2B on a choking superteam and then #2 on a choking team with the MVP. I'll give him 3rd best Rocket of all time behind the Chairman of the Boards,
