[Poll] Would you have traded Amen and Sengun for Doncic?

When something like this happens, I think Dallas is really worried about Luka's health, motivation for fitness. I'd want Luka for Amen and Sengun as long as Dallas doesn't want to trade Luka.

For Lakers, AD and a pick is a no brainer.

 

Maybe. That’s more in line with what the Mavs should have wanted. Although I understand that AD can be viewed as a more “win now” player.

In a heartbeat

Generational one man defense beaters are impossibly valuable, particularly in the playoffs where the game is more focused and effort level more consistent. Great team basketball sounds nice and romantic, but it's not the actual way to win a chip. You can cobble together the supporting pieces.

Amen would give me more hesitation because I think he is one jump shot away from possibly being at that level. Frankly I can say something similar about Alpi, but i think he has some fairly glaring physical limitations that put a lower ceiling on him.

 

I'd do Amen or Sengun for Luka straight up. But not Jalen.
