My guess is not-guilty (or hung jury which it's looking like now).

    What do you think?

I haven't really been following the trial. Does it seem to everyone here that he's guilty or not?

What's his defense exactly? Uh...I stopped my car in front of hers because I wanted to take it up the rear. I wasn't trying to block her car....honest [IMG]. My friends just happened to be doing a drive-by while I was doing that, too.

Stupid jurors. Good thing there isn't any DNA evidence....then he would really get off.

High-profile Trials of Celebrity Black Men

1st - The more-than-likely guilty O.J. Simpson gets off. But, the prosecutors sucked ass so bad, that John Wilkes Booth would've gotten off.

2nd - The more-than-likely innocent (if you've heard the circumstances) Mike Tyson is found guilty of rape. I think it was in reaction to the Simpson trial and due to the fact that Tyson isn't a "pretty-boy" like O.J.

3rd - Ray Lewis pleads guilty to a lesser charge so he won't have to stand trial for murder. Funny thing is his friends got off anyways. He most likely didn't do anything worthy of a prison sentence

4th - Ray Carruth, looks guilty as hell. Will most likely be found guilty. He's not as good a ball player as Lewis, and seems to be involved more directly with the death of his girlfriend.

Unless jurors could predict the future, I'm pretty sure a 1992 verdict wasn't in reaction to a 1995 verdict.

Hopefully justice will be served, whether he's guilty or not.

Well we were all wrong. Not guilty of 1st degree murder, but guilty of conspiracy to commit. He faces 20 years, will probably be sentenced to 15, and will probably wind up serving 6.

Sounds like a typical compromise verdict. Very hard to understand otherwise: he WAS guilty of conspiring to commit a murder, and a murder was committed. So isn't he a murderer then? Seems like he got off easy.

At least he'll serve some jail time this way.

Rocket River, I understand that justice is rare nowadays, but that doesn't mean you can't hope things change.
