    A Blazer.

A Blazer, because he had his best years with them despite winning a championship with the Rockets.

Does that mean we can rip his jersey down? Took damn 40 minutes at half-time for him to accept his number being retired. The league fined us for smeggysakes.

I'm sure he could change his mind, but Clyde stated a couple of years ago that he would retire as a Rocket. Has anything he said recently changed this, or did y'all just forget?

Clyde went into the 50 greatest as a Rocket. But the Blazers might buy back his affiliation with a front office position.

    No question.

    A Rocket.

It's all about his ties to H-town.

Ummm, he did retire as a Rocket.

Going into the Hall doesn't have anything to do with which team he retired as.

To answer the question, I think he'll enter the Hall as a Blazer. Not that he will discount his years here in Houston or the championship, but he spent so much of his career in Portland and was drafted by them. He also played in two NBA Finals as a Blazer, so it's not like he accomplished nothing in Portland.

Sammy -- I thought he did the 50 greatest thing as a Blazer.

He should go in as a Blazer, no question.

Uh... this isn't MLB. Players just go in, they don't go in with any team affiliation.

I saw Clyde in the TV comedy "Married with Children" last night. He plays himself. I think that is he. Divac was there too.

Freak, I dunno. I remember being surprised at him doing the 50 greatest thing as a Rocket, since he'd spent so much of his career as a Blazer. I remember 2 of the 3 then-current Rockets on that list wearing the Rox gear, with Barkley as a Sixer. But then I could be going senile in my old age. Maybe someone else here remembers it better and can clarify.
