With T-Mac out, the other players get a chance to step up their games. But the Rockets still dont have a 3rd player that averages double digits. Right now, the Rockets have 3 players average around 9 points: Bonzi Wells (9.7), Rafer Alston (9.6), & Shane Battier (8.7).

So, who you think will be the first player to reach double digits among these players?

    FIRST!!!

I'll go out on a limb here and say Rafer Alston... he will be a very very poor man's version of Jason Kidd... percentages the same (FG%) from the line a bit better, (FT%) but won't average 7+ rebounds a game... the rest though, I could see...

    Alston: 12.3 PTS, 4.5 Rebounds, 6.0 Assists :D

I hope its Bonzi, but I think it will probably be Rafer.

I think Bonzi, unless Scola starts to get 30 minutes a game. He could move up faster than we think.

Rafer, but it would be great to have Head average double digits.

i would love to see Shane or Scola hitting 10ppg.
Add bonzi, we would have 4 players with 10+ points average. That would be more balanced team offense

I don't see Bonzi doing it consistently. He might have a few good games. But Bonzi is NOT a good shooter. His strength is driving to the hoop and finishing down low. If you take that aspect of his game away, with teams clogging the lane with shot blockers, he's gonna be useless.

Thus I take Scola. Scola plays strong down low AND he can shoot the lights out with that mid-range jumper. I want to see him become a little more aggressive on the offense. I think he defers a lot of shot. He should try to create something for himself rather than always deferring to teammates and only take wide open shots.

novak could come in and play his 1st game agaist the warriors, score 4 3p and he will average 10 points.

Seriously the safe pick would be bonzi, but i say scola and AB will get to double figures by the end of the season.

Rafer will probably be the first but Bonzi will end with a higher average at the end of the season IMO. I hope Scola and Battier get there soon too.

    it has to be bonzi.

the others haven't shown they can carry the load.

it's interesting that in some of the last few games, we've seen battier do more scoring. he can score, but RA doesn't call his number very often...
