I want to know what you guys think considering the current scenario..

I go with Scola... for hustle.. rebounds and better D when compared to Landry..

Whichever is playing better....but I would prefer Scola, he is more varied.

It has to be a game-by-game decision.

Scola should get the nod on the average night. He's been the avatar of consistency and he can certainly make offensive plays when it counts. Landry is more of a gamble, he can score more in spurts but if he's not on you see a game like against Utah.

Whoever is playing the best that night between them.

If it's pretty even I would say Scola.

That is exactly what I think. Sometimes it may even be Hayes, if for example Dirk in on fire...

In some cases both should be on the court i.e. last night. Yao can be a liability on defense and it is not so good on offense especially when he is really tired.

Landry, because we need more defense.. They are equal on rebounding. However, I would rather have Landry block shots. We need Yao is going to be our finisher on the offense, Scola is better on offense. Not 100% sure about Landry, but he can hit that mid-range jumper and he can block a lot of shots.

Landry is NOT a good defender. Period.

    Scola!!!

His waaaayyy more consistent on both sides of the floor than Landry as of lately and I'm sure a damn Paul Milsap will not boss him around like he did with Landry.

Depends on matchups. It should be between Hayes, Scola, Landry.
But if I had to choose, it would be Scola, because he can create his own shot.

Scola, and i would actually go to him, i am fking tired of Yao having momentum killer turnovers at the end of games, or during our comebacks.

Scola is the better offensive weapon, but usually, you can tell which of the two has the hot hand in that game or not by the end of the third quarter, so if it is a matter of points. It shouldn't be that hard to figure out.

I voted Chuck, but I might be biased ;)

Actually I like Scola more at the end of games.

It depends on matchup. Like in the game last night, Chuck could definitely have helped our rebounding. Rockets, as a team, just don't rebound well especially against the JAZZ, which hurt us again and again.

Depends on the matchup along with who played the best in the first three quarters and the beginning of the 4th quarter.

Damn, we were getting getting snagged on all night..

like other people said, It depends on which one is playing that that day..

I would trust landry's jumper over scola's, but scola can create off the post better. If yao is in the game, scola's post game is almost useless because yao always brings his man in and clog up the paint. who every is hot...

The only way hayes can replace landry or scola is if shane is on fire and can pick up the scoring load....if not, you will have two players battling over who will score the lowest points

Is it just me or does Landry seem to shrink a little bit when the games get physical. I'm not saying he isn't a tough guy but I don't see any fire in him . I know Scola isn't considered fiery but he seems to respond to dirty play by getting more physical without getting upset. Actually, he seems to respond almost perfectly. Ask Rasheed Wallace.

Landry made me sick. Boozer had him by the jersey a few times and Landry did not respond. Didn't even smack Boozer's hand off him or anything. Then, the minute the game ended he walks over to Boozer and shakes his hand. The guy just clowned you, man handled you and clapped his hands and screamed like an idiot as his team beat you and you wanna run over to him and be his buddy? Please.

Exactly my point, you have to use scola because can score from many ways, but if you are going 4 down with Yao, then put in Hayes, anyway no offense will be used.

Scola should be in there, and he should be used at least as much as Yao. He has shown to be a great finisher, and if not, he gets to the line as many as Yao, shots at almost the same clip and is better at the offensive board, not to say he has a lot less TO. USE THE DAMN GUY!

Both of them are average man to man defenders.

Landry is the better shot blocker while Scola is the better charge taker. It's almost like taking Battier or Artest.

Battier being Scola and Landry being Artest on defense. Scola is clearly the superior offensive player though

Here's one of my favorite clips in last season's playoffs.
