If these two teams met in the playoffs, who would you want to win?

i think i'll root for the Spurs, that's how much i've grown to hate the mavpricks.. never in my wildest dreams did i think i'd root for a spurs team, but they have already won championships before, and i just don't want dallas to win one.. EVER. add in the fact that we haven't really had a playoff series against the spurs in a long time, and the series against dallas two years ago is still fresh in my mind..

and i'm pretty bummed that nodickski will probably will the mvp this season.. i'm praying that somehow people will vote for nash.

I hate the Mavs with a passion. The Spurs are the lesser of two evils.

Agreed on the Mavs, though I actually like Avery Johnson and don't think the Spurs are evil.

Mavs, hands down. I hate everything related to Dallas sports and pretty much most everything else Dallas too.

I dislike the Mavericks much more than the Spurs. It used to be the other way around, but that was when the Mavs had Steve Nash. It's hard to dislike Nash.

I don't like the way fans from Dallas act.

They are all great teams for a long time and Rox hasn't been really as good at the same period.

    You guys are just jealous.

I like Avery. I do not hate the Spurs-or think they are evil. I have grown to not to like Duncan. He is an awesome talent- but I am sick of his crying to referees during games. He really seems to expect special treatment. I think Timmy already gets special treatment. I am disapointed with Duncan. He is agreat role model- college graduate-classy guy-I'm sick of his crying....

All this pales in comparison to my hate for the Mavericks... Their owner is classless.

Josh Howard is a special talent- awsome player-but I hate that team.

oh easily the mavs there isnt a single player i like on the mavs and there are several that I dislike on the mavs. the only persons in the mavs organization i do like/respect are the two coaches del harris and avery johnson. the spurs there are a lot of players who I dont like either, but they do have some guys who i do like in barry, uridh, and horry.

i would go with the mavs i hate more but its not by much

Mavs are easier to eat. Spurs are a little tougher to swallow.

I will go with the Mavs.

Spurs. I hate them with a passion. I always have.

I actually like the Mavs, except when they play the Rockets

Exact same situation here. I can't stand the Spurs. Mavs play a complete different type of game than both the Rockets and Mavs do. It's comparing 2 different things. I've liked the Mavs since 2002, and then since I moved to Dallas I have grown to LOVE the team. I watch every game and enjoy it!

In fact, I'd rather have the Mavs win the championship this year just to shut half you guys up with all the championship talk. Yes, we have 2 rings, but what do we have to show for it? Just banners at the empty TC, that's all, I'm happy for you! What was it, 12 years ago now? And yes, that was the last time we got past the first round in the playoffs. Grow up!

At least the Mavs have been consistent. Every year they've improved in the playoffs. That's what good franchises do.

Mavs don't have any "best player" in the starting lineup except for Dirk at PF and they can still manage to win as many games as they do. What about the bench? Croshere, Buckner, and Harris? Give me a break. When you look at their roster on paper and see their record, it's simply amazing. Especially playing in the West in this day and age. I really hope they win 70 games, but I'm sure it's not going to happen. They've already broken so many NBA records and it's only March.

Sorry, 10 years ago was the last time we got past the first round.
