Please vote what you feel most contributed most to our loss.

I feel Van Gundy's coaching once again brought us down.

I blame it on the guards who froze Yao out... this is so annoying... at least last year with Stevie we could get the ball to Yao somewhat consistently.. but the situation right now is terrible..

unfortunately it's inevitable that children will again begin complaining about jvg...yao...tracy...our roleplayers...whatever, take your pick.

they played well, we lost. tracy had a poor shooting night, but then again so did yao other than his dunks, we just lost.

We played all right. We just can't run with the best running and gunning team in the league and expect to win. We need to pound them inside and take advantage of their size and we didn't do that enough. Yao can be easily taken out of a game by fronting, and our PFs are powerless, as usual. Props to Deke, though. He looked half his age out there tonight.

The Suns are just the better basketball team. We knew before the game and it was proven tonight.

    Uh, let's see.

We lost because they are better than we are.

As one of the bigger Gumby haters on this board, this loss was because our shots(Tmac) didn't fall and the suns are just better than we are.

    Refs.

We attacked the basket more, yet get fewer calls.

This group of new owners of Suns must have some good network to buy out refs.

I voted for Tracy's shots not falling. Not a knock on him, it's just he way it is sometimes.
Several of our guys had shots "rim" out.......tuff night. :(

I don't see how you can blame JVG for this one. Tmac and Yao just didn't play well enough to win. We did a great defensive job on Amare, but if the Suns are gonna hit 15 threes, then its just hard to stop that.

I was really pleased with the role players tonight. Wesley and Barry hitting 3's is what kept us in it. Mo sucks.

    Actually,

I think our game plan was flawed. We kept double teaming the ball and they would pass it to a wide open 3 pt shooter.

No need to double team anyone on that team, let them go one on one, if they score, fine, but do not let them get wide open shots that is bad defense.

The Spurs showed the way, they put Parker on Nash, and he fought through screens and made Nash be more of a scorer and less of a passer, the result was that the Suns became frustrated, and they had to work hard in the half court set.

Letting them run is clearly a bad idea, we should have defended the 3pt line and let Amare take 15 footers all night, and defend Nash one on one, don't let him beat you with the pass.

What exactly would you have had him do differently? We moved the ball fairly well, and they played some pretty good D on Yao. Tmac and Yao rimmed out about 15 shots tonight. Not much you can do about that. I liked our defensive switches. Amare got basically no easy baskets from the pick and roll as a result. We forced the guards to hit outside shots, and they did that. Marion was unbelievable.

The problem is that Tracy keeps firing away even after he's gone cold. Call it selfishness or whatever; either way he has to shoulder much of the blame tonight.

He's an incredibly talented player but he needs to find better shots when he's not making tough jumpers with a hand in his face.

I enjoyed this game. I don't 'blame' anyone because a lot of our players hustled and we were effective in many parts of the game. Next time, we might not miss so many open shots, esp. the 3s, and it will be close.

Great game. Gives me much hope.

Most of his shots today are good selections. The ball just went in and out too many times.
