With the emergence of Green and the downfall of Anderson, what would you do?Green at the 3 and Ariza at the 4 would be intriguing.
I love option 3. Ariza and Moute are solid starters and give us dat versatility. Green/Gordon/Anderson getting to work that wiener from the bench. I think Anderson needs this honestly. He is a better player than he is showing.
I wonder if anyone will vote Anderson into the starting 5... I went with option 3. Green, Gordon and Anderson off of the bench is all about the three ball. Mix in PJ, Nene, Weber and Black and the Rockets can finally go 10 deep when everyone is healthy.
If Anderson keeps this up, I rather get Mbah's defense and 3pt shot. Ryan does not give us any space playing like this.
My perfect scenario would be: CP3, Jim, Green, Ariza, Capela if we had another scorer off the bench to help Eric Gordon, that not being the case, you have to keep Green on the bench. Sit Ryno at all costs.
I like option 4. Ariza moving to the 4 and Green as our starting 3 would be killer on both defense, 3pt shooting, and small ball. Having Gordon, Mbah a Moute, Anderson, and Tucker starting our 2nd unit is pretty lethal in itself. Anderson needs a change, not just for the team but for himself. He's lost a lot of confidence and it's affecting the team. I think a new role coming off the bench would help
There's zero question to me whether Ariza starts. The question is what do we do with Anderson. I think the best possible lineup is Luc at the 4. But I'm not sure if it's the best overall decision, because I think Ryan needs to play with Harden a lot to be of any use at all, while Luc (and, for that matter, PJ) can play with anyone. I voted Luc for sheer upside, but I think keeping Ryan in the starting lineup is more likely and probably justified.
Don't get me wrong - I love Green, but I think his value is rather limited once his hot streak ends. He hustles, but his defensive awareness is lacking and doesn't box out at all. He would be a decent guy off the bench to feed off CP3 when he runs the show with Harden on the bench. Our 4 should be PJ, Moute, and I'm all for giving Zhou a second chance at making the rotation (he is our second best rim protector). Ryno can stay on the bench until he gets his head straight.
Do ya'll feel like that it is getting closer and closer to the trade deadline is messing with Ryno's head?
Remember how Gordon kinda lost his mojo when we got Lou? I’m worried that the same thing is going to happen if Green is able to make a consistent impact. I think Green and Gordon should be separated as much as possible on the court if Green averages around 15ppg a game. Summary: We got hella scoring/defensive combos when fully healthy!
Ya I forgot about that. Good point. I think it's worth noting how different of a player green is than Lou though. And they both thrived last night. Green will regress but if he can average over 12ppg or so while Gordon is still the 6th mayneee then I think it's an ideal situation
Would love to see Green move to starting 3 and Ariza to the 4. That lineup should be dynamite to start games and get defenses in the bonus early.
