    Its been mention getting Alverado,

Looney could be had for cheap.

Pelicans blowing team up rebuilding probably should get on the fire sale over there lol.
Those are 2 vets rockets could use asap.

Trade for a backup guard for Reed and trade for a rim runner as an alternate to Capela. Agree with @Le$$

    Backup guard. Small moves.

    Reasoning:
Rockets don't have that many movable assets for big moves at this time. FVV and Jabari are much easier to move starting the summer. Also, the Rockets are second aproned, I think. A resident capologist can better confirm this.

if anything there will be a small signing or some transaction at the end of the roster - sending JD Davidson and Isaiah Crawford to the g-league means the aren't likely to get rotation minutes even though we are short handed. So you find someone to replace them.

I think what they should do is find a rotation level guard that can shoot 3’s and play defense (Monk, Christie, Alvarado) and a backup to spell Capella until Sengun gets healthy. There is plenty availability to accomplish this if you are willing to give up a FRP. I think what they do is nothing.

I think they will try to sign a cheap veteran guard at some point. I don't see a trade unless they can do something with Tari, which I doubt will happen.

    So...

Nothing by the trade deadline. Vet signing at some point....

Alvarado is smaller than Reed. If we get him, Reeds 25 mpg gets decimated.

Any guard addition needs to have the size to play extended minutes with Reed. 6’4 200 and up

I was under the impression that they are too close to the apron to sign anyone, even to the vet minimum. This would eliminate the option of waiting to sign buyout candidates, would it not?

I predict trading for a veteran backup PG. Someone who can control the tempo and direct traffic later in games. While I don’t think it would be considered a major trade, it could provide a pretty significant impact for this team.

They'll get combo guard that can handle and shoot it.
    Also, another big.
    One will be a buyout.
