With all these threads about fashion, I want to know what everyone here thinks about people who wear J's casually and to play basketball in. IMO wearing them to play just seems stupid. I haven't worn a pair since the 7th grade, they just started getting to expensive for a pair of sneakers. And I never understood why people treat them like they're made out of gold. Never wore J's (maybe once, can't remember?). I didn't have much money so i didn't mind wearing the payless Olajuwon's. Anyway, if i'm not at work, i wear T's, Bo's, and Ree's. So, no J's. On a side not anybody else feel like this board is getting punk'd. It might be all fashion threads by the end of the week.
Actually the last time I wore "J's" to play basketball, I ended up seriously spraining my ankle. I have never been the same since, and I have never worn J's to play ball since.
Why would they be a fashion no no to play basketball in? Jordans, in my opinion, are comfortable basketball shoes, and great to play ball in
usually, about 75 percent of the people that wear them have no basketball talent what so ever. the other 25 percent are pretty good.
I guess the whole basketball thing came off wrong. It's just that they're so expensive I don't see why you would want to play with them unless it's an indoor court where they won't get as messed up as playing at a park. I know a few people that buy the shoes and only wear them once in a while (almost rarely) and just collect them.
