Which team that didn't make the Playoffs this season has the best chance of earning a spot next year?

    Houston 38%

    Philadelphia 20%

    Orlando 11%

    New Orleans/Oklahoma City 10%

    New York 6%

    Utah 6%

    Boston 5%

    Other 4%

So, what do you think, the Rockets have a chance next year?
If we get one good player, and our stars stay healthy we can make the playoffs.

even all of our role players suck
Tmac & yao alone would get us into the playoffs

It is tough not picking an East team in these types of polls considering the conference disparity.

but considering that we were #5 last year with no changes in the core of them team (Yao & T-mac), it's tough not picking us...

I'm pretty sure all we need is last years T-Mac and this years Yao with no injuries and we are essentially slated for the 2nd round if not more.

Haha, 6% of respondants think the Knicks have a better chance than Houston at making the playoffs next year. Crack must be getting really popular in NY.

its not a given that these 2 guys alone get us in the playoffs.

we need at least a 3rd scoring option and one or 2 perimeter threats.

then if we're to progress past the first round we need an upgrade at 4. or we need Juwan to turn back the clock. ;)

Hell yeah it is. No matter how bad the scrubs on our team were this year. A healthy T-mac and Yao are good enough to pencil the rockets into the playoffs every year.

Now getting past the first round is where the good role players will come in handy.

Exactly, if we would have had a healthy star tandem we would have been in this year, middle or upper part of the seeding
