I forwarded an article to some of my friends last week entitled "Christian Right Lobbies to Ban Second Law of Thermodyanmics" from one of The Onion's back-issues. While most of them found it funny, one of them replied with a scathing email, accusing me of enjoying mocking important things. So, do you like it, or does it offend you? I vote: amusing. Definitely amusing. IMO, the mark of a person is how easily he/she can laugh at him or herself. If a person can't laugh and find irony in his/her life, it must be a sad world for that person. 2-0 ------------------ I don't get mad. I get stabby.
I've always thought it hysterically funny. Theoretically, there are probably subjects that could go too far-- a friend sent me a link to "Dress Up Jesus", a site that allowed you to drag and drop different clothing items onto a depiction of Christ on the cross, and I found it tremendously offensive--but I've yet to find anything similarly offensive in the Onion.
