Many of the questions were two extreme opposites which sort of boxes you into picking the left leaning option too often. I prefer the more nuanced political quizzes, but here are my results none the less: Your best fit is... Next Generation Left along with 12% of the public. Generally young, well-educated and financially comfortable, the Next Generation Left have very liberal attitudes on many issues, including homosexuality, abortion, the environment and foreign policy. While overall supportive of an activist government, most are wary of expanding the social safety net. Most also have relatively positive views of Wall Street’s impact on the economy. While most affiliate with the Democratic Party or lean Democratic, few consider themselves strong Democrats. Compare groups on key issues.
Your best fit is... Young Outsider along with 13% of the public. The description seems pretty accurate, though I would say I lean more toward the Democratic party than Republican.
I got the same result and feel the same way. With that said, I'm not completely shocked that my views do not fit directly into one party over the other.
I like the quiz. Yes, none of the options feel like they do your positions justice, but I like the simple binary and it does a good job of backing away from the issues of the day to get at more fundamental things (with a couple of exceptions). But, it called me a Solid Liberal. Now, I shade liberal and even socialist in some things, but somehow all my conservative qualities didn't come out at all. So, it's missing something.

I didn't want to choose either of the answers on most of the questions. The quiz should've been titled: "Are you Bernie Sanders or Michelle Bachmann?"

Exactly. These questions were way too black and white. Most, if not all of them, I wanted to choose a more moderate option.
^^^ Same. Really dislike this quiz. Like picking between two evils. I tried hard to take each statement as literal as possible.
http://www.isidewith.com/political-quiz#more This is a better quiz than the one OP posted. The issues are also a lot more specific and offer a lot more choices than a simple yes, no. I match with Democrats on the most social issues and I match with Socialists for the least social issues.
Next Generation Left along with 12% of the public. The quiz is not as bad as others make it out to be. The purpose of the quiz is to see how conservative people really are. Its a sucker survey to be sold to the parties.
