Political Polls: Have you ever been Polled? Simple Yes or No. I cannot say I ever have . . . in fact I don't know anyone that has ever been polled I did do Polling for Armitron about radio music play but that not important Rocket River
It's crazy that I've never been polled. Politically speaking if you just looked at who I am demographically I would be exactly who you'd want to be measuring. -40 -white man -suburbs -red to purple county shifting bluer -upper middle income -Voted Republican back in the day, shifted Dem with Obama, slightly Nikki Curious for a moment until I realized she has no values However there are two factors at play most likely - -Don't live in MI, WI, PA, AZ, or GA (even though if my county here in Texas went blue Texas could go potentially go blue) -Don't have a land line, and don't answer spam on my cell
No sure I believe you that you haven't been polled. Maybe you're thinking only about presidential electoral politics. Are you discounting local and state politics? I don't remember if I've gotten one that was focused squarely on the presidency, but I've gotten calls regularly for years. I used to like doing them because who doesn't like sharing their opinion. Now, I'm jaded and figure that the polling firm is (1) monetizing my data without paying me and/or (2) engaging in push-polling, trying to influence votes under the guise of polling. So now I always hang up on them.
yes, and hung up I stopped taking polls seriously a long time ago u can’t tell me the type of person that would do a poll is indicative of the average American or even average voter, especially in this day and age
Once. 30 or so years ago. The pollster started by asking very leading questions. The gist of the poll was to show the leading national cause for concern was that the states were restricting gun ownership. Needless to say, the pollster likely marked me as an outlier. Nowadays, I only have a cell phone and I will not answer any calls from someone who is not on my contact list. Thus, no pollster can get through.
