You're actually proud enough of THAT exchange to create a BBS thread??? rofl Some random idiot, probably in a hurry to go somewhere, who was chasing a gutshot straight. I don't see what's interesting about that. It's not like you took down Phil Ivey here. This type of crap happens all the time.
I wouldn't call him a 'freakin idiot' he was trying to represent a set or maybe AK using the river as a scare card. That's not the worst play ever. anyway, I have a funny lil story about pokerstars. I had $125.50 left in my bankroll and decided to cash it all out to pay for my gas to Ohio over the holidays. Anyway, I got an email from PS about direct deposit being available again, so I decided to go that route as it's alot quicker than a paper check. I cashed out on December 15th. Well, on the 22nd(the day I was leaving)I still hadn't heard or recieved anything from PS. I get an email on the 23rd from PS stating that they are log jammed with transactions due to the holidays but they are doing everything they can to process all cashouts before Christmas. Christmas came and went and I still havent recieved anything from PS. NYE I get ANOTHER email from PS apologizing for the delay and they have given me a free 10% deposit of my last cashout. $12.50 woot! So about another week goes by and I still don't have anyhing from PS. So once again, ANOTHER email. This time they just told me to retry a cashout through a paper check as the direct deposit didn't work. Fine. A few days go by and I check my bank account......SWEET! finally got the $125.50 from pokerstars! Wait, I remember the email they sent saying the direct deposit attempt failed, so I log onto pokerstars and BOOM. $138.00! Okay, so I get over on pokerstars for $138. Well, I decided it was free money, I'm gonna have fun with it. I get on, play like a donkey, constantly raising OOP with rags, 3 and 4betting with crap like QJs, chasing down flushes/Str8's for horrible odds and equity, snap shoving MPP etc...Just being goofy and having a good laugh. Much to my suprise I actually built my bankroll from $138 to $327 in a few weeks playing a few hours here and there. I decided that I'd had enough fun and went for another cashout, not really knowing what to expect. Same friggen story.....email after email about direct deposit not working. Try a paper check....and yes, another deposit in my bank account, and yes......still $327 put back in my pokerstars account. played a lil more, won a lil, lost a lil, cashed out $409 2 days ago. We'll see.....
Lol. No kidding. The dude put up 2 dollars. I'm fairly sure Mulder was acting like this guy: http://johnnybygerasimosm.ytmnd.com/
I might see how he (having nothing) was trying to scare Mulder into folding, but if you're gonna try that, you only go so far - you don't go all in. That guy was really really stupid.
I will never play online poker again. Get wiped out everytime by some idiots with trash hands. I never see some many freaky bad beat in live game. I will only go to Casino playing cash game or tourney, where I always do pretty well. Playing online is really lame.
I honestly think he was just going for the gut-shot, trying to scare you out. Not sure what he was trying to do after your raise other than him being an idiot. Since you just called everything till the river, Im not sure why he thought his all in raise after the river would scare you any more... Dumb play by him.
