Why are you taking what your friend says as believable compared to any news you could access on google for instance. Only reason I ask is because I play on Full Tilt every now and then and lots of the Poker pros are online right now playing as if life is normal in Pokerland. Mike plays over there lots of nights, but he is not online now just an FYI. No talk on the various table chats there about any Matusow news either.
He probaly rushed to conclusions on a sportscenter piece on him. I saw that last night and I was thinking the same thing it did seem like a tribute but than they said "make sure you watch matasaw tommorw night in the tourney of champions"

I find ALL poker players to be highly annoying and a WASTE of air time on ESPN. I can care less what happens to them. It's not a real sport. It's a card game. No offense to anyone. I love playing poker.. but I really don't consider it a real sport nor does it deserve a spot on a major sports channel. I'd MUCH rather watchthe spelling bee than this crap. At least the spelling bee features some fainting (
