Point: Rhiana's "Umbrella" is worst song of century

Well, it's number 1 for some reason or another. Personally, I have never heard it.

 

sounds like this song about english occupation or ireland i heard a while back, not a great song but a lot of popular songs today suck to the extreme.

 

"Sugar We're Going Down Swinging" By Fall out Boy is the worst song in the history of the world.

Nothing can convince me otherwise.


I could randomly combine 100 words from the dictionary and come up with better constructed and sensical lyrics than that piece of **** song.



The Rihanna song is actually catchy. I just hate the first part with Jay-Z.

 

I agree the song is slightly bad and really annoying. But I think deep down inside you really like it, thats why you are so bitter. lol. All joking aside, you can't tell me this song is worse than "Hey Mama" and "My Humps" or pretty much any other song ever made by the "new" Black Eyed Peas and/or Fergie.

Its also not as bad as "Hollaback Girl"... but then again, nothing is.

 

I actually think the song is good.

for the most part i cant stand pop, r&b, and mainstream rap these days.

but i think that song is decent to some of the stuff thats out there.

First time I've heard this song thanks to the thread (just said the same in the Winehouse thread). That part sucks hard, it's so damn cheesy. I know it's intentional, but I'd rather put some proper delay on it instead of singing it!

Overall not bad for today's pop song. Although it still has that 'only a drum machine + my first fisher price keyboard' sound that's been popular the past 2 years.
