dang that clyde the glyde finger roll was awesome! I never got to watch him play so I didn't realize he could do stuff like that.

Any more graceful high-difficulty finger rolls or other signature "drexler" moves out there?

this was fantastic. Jordan's ability to palm the basketball as if it were a baseball is the key to the "artistic" nature of those clips.

Lols. He took like 2-3 steps between dribbles, and then another 5 AFTER the dribble. Haha.

I guess nobody knows what the traveling rule is. But read what someone posted earlier. Whathe said is right. It's not traveling.

Vince Carter's reverse 360 windmill dunk is a beautiful dunk to watch in slow motion.

There are some great montages from the early slam dunks competitions in here:

    <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Jd43wUTzWiY?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Jd43wUTzWiY?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

I really like the 1986 Dunk Competition section (5:22). Does anyone know the name of the music that plays during that part? I'd like to see that music in some Rocket highlights but I never knew the name of the song.

Yeah, but he initiated the play with a travel. He established a pivot foot with his left foot and jabbed with the right. On the drive he stepped with his right foot and he lifted his left pivot food without taking a dribble, which, I'm pretty sure you know is a travel.

    Sorry for being fussy.

I don't know what you mean by pivot foot in this context. There was no pivoting in the play.

He took two steps after gathering the ball in his right hand. That's not a travel.

Furthermore, I found a compilation of Jordan's rock the cradle dunks. This dunk is by far my favorite dunk style because of how artistic it looks starting with cuffing the ball, getting a lot of air time, and the kicking of the legs at the end. It's very nice to witness really. And no one does it better than the way MJ used to.

If you look at the cradle dunk at the 1:00 mark, that's the dunk vs. the Bucks. Just look at how much air he gets  He truely lived up to his "airness" on that one.

Dr. J's cradle dunk might be the most famous dunk in NBA history.
