lol these r/The_Donald guys are delusional, no surprise that you're one of them. Pretty much every single one of your talking points originates from them.

Can't wait for election day when Trump gets demolished. You and your r/The_Donald buddies can cry together for a while but hopefully one day you can all look back on this experience and wonder how stupid you could've been to buy this man's rhetoric, then become productive members of society.

They're all going to be heartbroken when we find out Trump never cared about winning and was just doing this for money.

 

I do find it very interesting how Wikileaks has only been releasing emails from the DNC and how they've timed there release just as Trump's campaign is flaming out. Just as interesting how during the same week as a member or the Duma talks about how Trump is the only candidate who can bring peace between the US and Russia and Russia officials criticize UN officials for disparaging comments of Trump.

 

Everyone involved has their own motives.... and none of them are pure.

The Clinton's have timed the release of information about Trump around the time of debates (using surrogates) or when pressure/scrutiny towards Clinton increased.... Some can say that it is dirty or not appropriate.

However, what we are seeing now is far more concerning...... one candidate is letting people/entities outside the United States, indeed often in direct interest with the best interests of the United States; have entire too much say/sway with the hacking/espionage of Russia and non verified leaks of private e-mail discussions from Assange.

The fact that a politician is openly flaunting approval/help from a direct enemy of the United States is flat out dangerous.

Further, the fact that the political party and voters that strongly supported the Cold War are openly embracing a dictator reared by the KGB is nothing short of disgusting. We are still in conflict with the Russians, with their encroachment in the Crimea, hacking and espionage, threats over foreign policy and the severe sanctions we have administered.

The only conclusion I can reach is that those that are happy about the connection with Putin do not really believe there will be any real consequences.

 

You have less than a month OP before you have egg all over your face. I can see the meltdown and excuses are already flying in.

You do understand that Wikileaks doesn't hack people right? They DO distribute the information that is sent to them though. In other words, the hackers either haven't gotten to republicans because they can't or won't. Or you could have a persecution complex and assume Wikileaks wouldn't release similar emails from the RNC which is amusing. In any case, the innuendo here is admittedly entertaining. Please continue to speculate.

 

HRC fans are locked in already. Nothing from these emails will change their minds and that doesn't matter. If Wikileaks has what they are claiming, HRC won't make it to Election Day.

That would make for some pretty interesting discussion.

It's all but locked up for the dems at this point so Trump fans will be hoping for a miracle.

 

Has nothing to do with Russia or Putin. Assange hates Clinton because of what happened to Bradley Manning. Obama and Clinton have punished whistle blowers like never before.

The Russia story was not made up. You are correct that Assange hates Clinton and has his own personal vendetta against her. You are also correct that the Obama administration has done a horrible crack down on whistle blowers.

However, Russia hacking the U.S. and being responsible for many of the prominent hacks is not made up. Both things happen to be true.

 

But Russia has nothing to do with these emails. That has not been proven and is pure speculation at this point. Again, Wikileaks is given info, they are not hackers. Now if hackers have provided them with the Podesta emails that remains to be seen and proven but forget the facts, let's just scare people right now!!

 

Well you are right, it hasn't been proved that Russia has 100% provided the emails...but you are assuming the opposite. That they have nothing to do with the emails when there is no proof to their innocence.

So you saying over and over again that Russia has nothing to do with these emails could be wrong.

 

Correct. We don't know for sure about these emails. We do know about the DNC hacks and other hacks that were conducted in similar ways. There is reason to believe they did it, but we don't know for sure.

 

Exactly, and to clarify I'm suggesting we don't assume they did or don't assume they didn't.

In today's political climate and today's irresponsible media, fact based reporting is damn near impossible and that pisses me off. Many people in this country believe what they see on the news and that's how we end up with the **** situations we find ourselves in.

A perfect example, this headline from the NYT "Clinton's Fibs vs. Trump's Huge Lies - The New York Times." This was a recent headline and it's so subjective and published under the NYT brand. Granted it is an opinion piece but what a weapon for anyone who has influence with the NYT. As a society we should not be okay with that.

 

Our intelligence community has determined the signature of the attack is Russian intelligence backed hackers. Saying it wasn't Russia or saying there is no evidence is equivalent of people saying it wasn't Bin Laden behind 9/11 in 2002.

I don't think it's been timed to the fortunes of Trump's campaign or to events in US-Russian relations. It was timed for October as an October Surprise to try to move the needle late in the game and not give Clinton enough time to repair any damage. That's textbook. It just so happens that everything else is also timed for October for the exact same reason. So, you have a confluence of revelations all at the same time. Wikileaks didn't know when they planned the release that they'd get totally upstaged by a Trump sex scandal.

 

Well they haven't determined it with 100% certainty yet, when/if they do I imagine that they would bring the issue and evidence to the international community. Personally I haven't read anything that would say that they know for a fact that it is Russia, just that they strongly think so and that the evidence they have points to it being Russia.

 

This is a wrong in regards to the Podesta emails. You're talking about the DNC chair's emails and once again more lies from both sides. More people care about their ideologies than the truth and will do wrong things for the "right" reasons. And they try and lecture us about how we treat women, ethics, etc.... The hypocrisy disgust me.
