Fellow Clutchfans, I come in search of good podcasts to listen to on my commute to school and maybe on longer commutes as well. I like science (although not readings straight out of a scientist's journal), psychology, comedy, sports, thought-provoking shows, interesting news discussion, skeptic/questioning kind of stuff, and occasionally a bookshelf that smells of rich mahogany. I listen to currently: ESPN: PTI Skeptoid Skeptic's Guide to the Universe Onion Radio News Onion News This Week in Computer Hardware Stuff You Should Know Brainstuff Talk of the Nation (NPR) Comical Radio Comedy Death Ray Stuff To Blow Your Mind I'm not sure about 5-6 others that I didn't include on the list (Savage Love, Bad Advice, Stack of Dimes, Quirks and Quarks, Life Habits, Dr. Karl and the Naked Scientist) of them. Those are the ones I like anyway. you guys have any ones you recommend? Always a difficult task sorting through the **** ones and googling for a while seems to yield no new podcasts that are much good.
The B.S. Report with Bill Simmons. He is mostly sports, but he also has TV critics, actors, and comedians on from time to time.
SklarBro Country. http://www.earwolf.com/show/sklarbro-country Mix of hilarious bits and their takes on sport-happenings. You can never go wrong with the Sklar Bros.
I love movies http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/doug-loves-movies/id281816774 Kevin Pollaks chat show... http://kevinpollakschatshow.com/
Adam Carolla's podcast is good if you're looking for a laugh. It has some overlap with Bill Simmons' podcast because they're good friends. They have a lot of the same guests and topics.

I'm a podcast junkie... started a thread on it a couple months back. I listen to: Doug Loves Movies Comedy Death Ray Cyberthug Radio The Adam Carolla Show Daves of Thunder Sklarbro Country Fitzdog Radio Hollywood Babble-On The Nerdist Podcast The Film Vault WTF w/ Marc Maron Highly recommend all of them.
I've recently gotten into: WTF (Marc Maron) Nerdist (Chris Hardwick) Doug Loves Movies (Doug Benson) Fitzdog Radio (Greg Fitzsimmons) They're distinct from each other, but if you like one of them, you might like all of them. They guest on each others' podcasts from time to time. They seem to run in the same circles as Adam Carolla and Comedy Death Ray. Stuff I've been listening to for awhile: Tell em Steve-Dave (Kevin Smith's friends) Puck Nuts (Tell 'em Steve-Dave crew talks about the NJ Devils) Hollywood Babble-on Macbreak Weekly Windows Weekly This Week in Startups I'll also listen to Bill Simmons, depending on what the topic of the show is.

I had no idea that he had a podcast. Looking at the guests that he's had, it seems awesome. I'm usually only into music podcasts (Stones Throw), but I'll have that one out.
WTF w/ marc maron is awesome.. Some of the most honest, candid, unfiltered, uncensored comedian interviews I've ever listen too...
Agreed. He's took Carlos Mencia and Dane Cook to task. Haven't listened to his interview with Robin Williams yet. Didn't pay too close attention, but from what I gather on Twitter, he interviewed Gallagher today and he (Gallagher) angrily walked out. Supposedly they disagreed on 'good' vs 'bad' comedy. He said he'd put the pod up soon.
I used to think Hardwick was some douche who hosted that game show with Jenny McCarthy on MTV. After listening to his podcasts I realized he's totally the opposite and was just trying to pay the bills at the time. Turns out he's a down to earth tech geek and comedy nerd.
