Mobley is in a slump right now, but look what he did last season after he got healthy. He was shooting ~45% from the field, ~40% from the arc. Cat was scoring well over 20 per. He was dropping dimes and snagging rebounds. He is our most consistent FT shooter. We don't need to trade Mobley, just change his role on the team. Unlike others, I am not suggesting a move to the bench. I think we should experiment with Mobley at point guard and Steve at the two. Make Mobley's first responsibility be to look for the pass. If he is bringing the ball up and initiating the offense, he won't be so preoccupied with getting his shot when he gets the ball. Alot of people always talk about moving Steve to the 2, but they want to start Moochie (I may be the only PG defender worse than Steve Francis) Norris at the point. Just swap Mobes and Francis and see what happens. Another change to the starting lineup should be to start MoT. Remember when he used to be usd in the post in the first quarter. He would score 8-10 points and then disappear for the rest of the game. We should do that again and just have Griffin coming off the bench. Griffin would still get more minutes.
I think the whole team needs a good dose of full 8 hour chinese coaching drills, every day except game days! passing drills free throw shooting drills fast break drills getting the ball in to the low post drills finding the open man drills we need something to whip this team into shape!

I'd do almost anything to get Calvin away from the microphone, but putting him at coach would be an unmitigated disaster. Just because he's a likable guy doesn't make him a good broadcaster OR a good coach.
