I know his salary is big, but you still could move him with some creativity. He plays no defense, he cant rebound if his life depended on it, and he does stupid costly mistakes. Today he didnt switch after Thomas set the pick and it made it looked like it was JJ's fault. Kurt Thomas was wide open all game long and Mo Taylor was guarding him. Mo Taylor is very big but he is too soft to be a PF in the west. Juwan is the same way so Mo needs to go.

I think they left them open on purpose. One time Juwan Howard got really lost..but I like how Juwan plays..fundamental..and hustles

It's really ridiculous to have the Knicks outshoot the Rockets in the Toyota Center. Kurt Thomas shot like he was in the Garden. Mo bricked everything from outside. I would trade Mo for PJ Brown.

it ain't matter who we trade. You put Shaq and Kobe in JVG's system, they will look bad and stupid most of the time. You put Mo and others in Jerry Sloan, Larry Brown's system, they all look like nexe MJ.

Can you imagine how much T-mac scores if he's with Jazz? or with Suns for that matter.

I've always remembered PJ Brown being a good defender and having a good jumper. However, I haven't watched him play recently.

Kobe would never play Gundys system. He would threaten retirement until they fired the Gumpster.

After seeing the replay, the first thing that came into my mind was , "why didn't mo switch over?"

I mean your up 2 and you know that a 3 will kill you but a 2 won't. Why is he staying with kurt thomas on the pick. It was JJ's fault because he got picked, it was Mo's fault.

Our problem last season was our power forward’s Cato and Taylor consistently got torched by 4’s that were perimeter oriented. It’s still a huge problem today. Any 4 that can nail an 18 footer is going to get wide open jumpers all game.

    Actually

Is not JVG's defense about making them take the
    MOST DIFFICULT shot

and the 3 is supposedly harder than the 2

Although it is convenient to pinpoint that final play, the truth is this game was lost long before the final possession.

11 point lead in the 4th

I just hope we don't panic and make stupid trades or end up with long term contracts that tie our hands later.

what happens the whole game doesn't matter when it comes down to the last play. You can throw out everything that went on in the first quarter/2nd quarter etc.. out the window. If your a good coach and your a good team, you are able to execute down the stretch.

Even though we were up 11 in the 4th, the point of the matter is that we were up by 2 with 2.9 seconds left. Why would you give up a 3 knowing your up 2?????? That's just stupid. AT the worst, you give up a 2 so you go into overtime. Usually, the team that's up 2 with 2.9 seconds left goes on to win the game.

omg. again, does it matter if taking a 3 is harder than taking a 2? The point is that the player shouldn't be taking a 3 in the first place. You don't setup yourself the chance to lose.

And plus, if you look at it, crawford had a wipe open look. It wasn't contested and it was too easy of a shot for being the last shot of the game. Why can't you see that mo taylor shouldve switched over no matter what to cover the 3?

Even Barkley said after the game you always switch on the picks in that situation. If Mo switches Crawford would not have had an open look. If crawford goes past Mo for an open 2 point shot you still go into overtime. It is simple. JVG should take the blame for the last play.

its funny how everyone blamed steve francis for everything last year. now we got rid of francis and hes doing a whole lot better than everyone expected. you guys were being too hard on franchise. now the tables have turned and everyone blames van gundy. after van gundy finally gets fired. who are you all gonna blame next year if we lose?yao?

Hopefully one of those players you are talking about is JJ...since he is the only one showing up on a nightly basis
