This is ******g unreal and rediculous! Just stop please! I'm just about had it with these fickle fans who comes in for the ride and decide to jump off when things ain't goin right.

This is T-MAC you're talking about here, a top 5 player in the NBA when healthy and is only 26 yrs old! It makes me so sad when I hear people talk about trading him...how can you even think of that? Never in any Rocket's fan dream think we could get a player of T-Macs calibre and now that we got him just last year, you guys don't want him anymore? For godsake he has been playing with a bad back all his career, its nothing new and he will break out of his slump beganning in LA on tuesday.

It has only been couple of weeks ago that T-Mac was tearing it up when Yao was out. Just about then, everyone was calling him a basketball God and even compared him to the great MJ. Remember his clutchness in the Bulls game right after coming back from injury? How about his own personal 14-0 run in Millwaukee? How about his consecutive 35+pts game including the Piston where he nearly took the game all by himself? How about the game where he outplayed Lebron or how about the recent home games where he dominated Seattle with 41pts? Cheez guy, thats been only 7 games ago. A couple of weeks of bad shooting slump with a back injury DOES NOT define a player overall within their career, past or future. Kobe had a foot and ankle injury last year and now he's on a rampage this year. Hell Vince Carte had multiple injury that kept him from playing much for two year straight 3 years ago and just recently he's playing one of his best basketball and he's 30 yrs old. Lighten up people, its not the end of the world...we have way to many basketball to watch for many years to come as Yao and T-Mac have yet to enter their primes.

Good post, it is not like TMAC have been playing terrible for a whole season. Houston is winning games and that is all that matters, TMAC will be back to his normal form soon.

But a game with 3/20, only 1 fT made, 0 total efficiency is scary.

ima_drummer2k I wish you wouldn't quote this person. Ruined the reason of me having an ignore list. :p You made me respond....

But in that game he also succombed to DOUBLE TEAMS allowing other players to be open and allowing more space for Yao Ming to do his thing.

TMAC, altough offensively dead in the last game was a big part of us winning that game IMO.

Even late in the game when he was having such an off night, he was getting double teams. That tells you something. TMAC is highly respected and other teams know that at anytime TMAC can light it up.

You're lack of discipline when it comes to posting STUPID replies is scary.

Oh yeah, you do realize it was a WIN! right?

T-Mac will be fine. He'll start doing damage again together with Yao and we will be in playoff this season.

I think T-Mac's struggles are largely due to his back problems. It must be hard to get into a rythm when you are wondering day to day whether or not you will be able to play without difficulty. T-Mac knows he is struggling and everyone goes through slumps. He will find his way out of it.

The only problem I have with T-Mac is that he tends to settle for too many long shots (especially contested 3 pointers) when he doesn't have it going and that kills us because they lead to the other running on us (this will anhilate us against the Suns if they are not going in).

Trading T-Mac is prepostorous and will NOT happen anytime soon. A 70% T-Mac is better than most 100% players in the league!

I hope no one is thinking about trading TMac that would be the greatest travesty of Western Civilization.

His shot is off and seems to be hindered by injury hopefully everything with correct itself in due time. I do wonder why TMac continues to settle for the long range shot instead of living on the FT line. Do you think he is bothered by all contact when playing inside?

You do not trade someone who has the potential to be one of the greatest players ever to put on a uniform just because he has a few bad games.

I am not sure his back is really the main issue; he seems like he has some things on this mind, appears distracted right now. The back will come and go. Plus, he has always been a "streaky" shooter. When he is on, he is on fire. You have to take the good with the bad. With TMac, the big picture is mostly good.

It is you who is overreacting. Most of posters, as far as I read, talked about when T-mac will get out of his shooting slump, and worried about his back injury. The vast majority of fans believe in his ability, and believe that he will come back sooner or later.

The point is 1) we need T-mac come back very soon because we don't little time left in this season. 2) there is concern that T-mac can't shake off his back injury completely, but he still can improve and contribute a lot to this team.

Overall, I think fans are very friendly to T-mac. Even when he shot 2-10 or something like that in the third quarter, they are still talking about let him shoot back. Nobody else in recent history, neither Yao nor Steve, has such a treatment from fans.

I think most people want him to rest his back instead of playing hurt and ineffectively. That is for the best interest of Tmac and our team. Don't be hyper sensitive.

With 7 rebounds and 6 assists.

    Ridiculous.

I think Tmac know his problem much much more than us. As a great player he will come back soon and I wish he will find his tuch asap cause if no his great play, rockets no hope to make playoff.

Tmac's personallity is so nice and also he need some pressure to make his game greater. Do you remember his 13 points in 30 seconds? That time he is under pressure(who will be the number 1 in the team ;) ). So I don't mind someone say something negative to him but he know we all love him and wish he is healthy. So I don't mind he jack bricks to try to find his tuch even cost us a few games(hope not). Don't hurt you our Tmac.
