I am so sick of their overly biased, unbelievably boring, and completely idiotic commentary. You won't find any two announcers in the league that are worse than Joel Myers, and any color commentator that is with him.

Rockets, you need to silence these twits. Get your first win in the Alamo dome in nine games, and shut them up! If I hear ONE more Tony Parker comparison to Steve Francis, I am going to explode!

I know that local announcers are supposed to be biased, but the Spurs make a joke of it.

Who cares what they think or say about us! That kind of thinking will get us a 12th pick instead of a 7th pick in the draft. Lets let them win, and we''ll really shut them up next season.

That's true, I forgot about the Wolves announcers. They are also pure, cocky trash.

Oh, and tanking is for losers. You should all know by now that I want the Rockets to win every game, even if they end up with the 13th draft pick. Tanking is for losing teams full of bad veterans like the 97 Spurs, not for teams with young talent that need to learn how to win.

Thank you ZRB. I hate these announcers with a passion as well. I got on here specifically to b**** about them, and you beat me to it. I dont think they have said anything positive about the Rockets yet. Oh and by the way, I completely agree on the tanking issue, losing is not an option.

Try putting the game on mute. After the first quarter, I couldn't stand it anymore. Even though the Rockets are still down by heaps, I am enjoying the game much more. I just have to pay more attention to the officials' hand signals to work out the calls.

I'm not saying we tank, just let some of the other guys like OT, TMo, T. Brown, Langhi, and whomever get some touches. There is ABSOLTELY no reason for Francis and Mobley to play 40 minutes plus if we have NO CHANCE at making the playoffs.

And ZRB, say what you will about the 97 spurs, they drafted a player every team would love to have on their roster, period. We already know we can win with our starters, lets see if our reserves know how.

Giving players like Langhi and Brown touches is the equivalent of tanking.

The Rockets need to treat the rest of this season like it is the beginning of next season. They can't take 55 games to find themselves next year if they are going to make the playoffs. This team has playoff-level talent. They have three potential superstars. Another rookie isn’t going to help anything. The Rockets need to focus on improving team chemistry, improving their defense, and learning how to close out games. The biggest issues of this season should not be big issues next season.

The *s actually believe that Greg Pukeovich is a better Xs and Os guy than Rudy T.

Screw tanking. That is a horrible idea for pretty much any team to do, unless they have absolutely no hope for the future, or plan on breaking up the team in the offseason. The Rockets have a team for next season, so they need to win as much as possible. They need to learn how to win the close games especially if they want to be in the playoffs next season. Tanking will only cause doubt and controversy within the organization.

And BlastOff, I don't know Pops all that well, but Rudy is not one of the better X's and O's guys in the league.

I'd say that Pop and Rudy are both the same when it comes to X and O plays. They both run very simple plays. The Spurs won the championship using the Rockets' system; dump it into Duncan, pass out to a three-point shooter etc.

Sean Elliot is the other play by play guy for the Spers.

I actually think Elliot is pretty good.

Myers just sucks. He has the most monotone voice that puts me to sleep.

Well, Pop has the respect of his players. Rudy doesn't.

I don't think there is a coach in the league who is ignored by his players more than Rudy.

PJ Carlesimo doesn't suck. IMO. I think he did a decent job.

yeah, he actually complimented the rockets occasionally and didn't question every damn call the refs made like joel. he was for the spurs and a little biased for the spurs and that's the way it should be, but he didn't take it to meyers levels. also, sean elliot is horrible for the simple fact that he played with the guys and thinks they are all amazing. everything drob does is superhuman and duncan is amazing and tony parker is the greatest. give me pj anyday over elliot.

PJ wasn't that bad, but Joel makes up for that with his crapitude.

    Worst announcers in the league:

    1.Tie: Spurs, Wolves, Kings
    2. Jazz
    ...
    28. Sonics
    29. Rockets

PJ Carlesimo looked like one of the characters from the old show "Thirtysomething".
