I thought about the possibilty of the Mavs having a injury plagued season and some how win the lottery and get Greg Oden it would be over for other teams thats' all they're missing. So I want the Mavs to get it togetheir just not pass the Rockets.

I wouldn't mind it. Oden doesn't impress me at all. He was just huge compared to his competition. We'll see what he does at Ohio State.

I would like them to finish with either the best non playoff team record and draft a Euro-bust with the 14th pick or I would like to see them get the eighth seed and the Rockets get the first seed and the Rockets sweep!

Actually, if they make the playoffs, they lose their draft pick. They had two picks this year and both are going to Golden State via the Erick Dampier deal. One of those is lottery protected though so hopefully they make the playoffs, which they probably will.

I know they've sucked thus far, but they're still the defending western conference champs

That theory would hold more weight if you were speaking of just playing in high school. In AAU, there's enough competition to accurately judge a player.

They're 0-4 people. There are still 78 games left.

It's too early to be concerned - NBA Novembers always have a lot of fluke starts, good and bad. Hell, the Hawks have the best record in the East right now. Not sharing the best record, the sole holders of the best record. Things will even out in a couple of months. They're not getting the #1 pick unless Dirk blows out his achilles.

    Actually:

    1987: David Robinson
    1997: Tim Duncan

Isn't it about time for the Spurs to pull another tank job?

    no worries.

Stern would never let Cuban win the number one pick.

Oden is a sure thing. He's the best big man pick to come along since Duncan. Even though we picked Yao #1, there were tons of doubts about Yao's ability to translate to the NBA, no such doubts about GO. There's no way the Mavs miss the playoffs by the way.

LOL, no kidding. this place just doesnt' seem right unless there's some sign of apocolypse looming in the distance. i mean, 4 games and he's freaking out about a draft pick. i love it.

    couldnt have said it better.

    imagine the calculations he did.

dallas continues to suck - even though it's only 4 games
dallas wins the lottery - what's the probability of that?
    he predicted the #1 pick

call me now..ms. cleo for your free bullcrap reading.
