I must admit to not being much of a computer whiz, but living in San Diego and not being able to watch or listen to the Rockets games, I really MUST give up my easier to be ignorant and keep my computer clean attitude. When clicking on his links I get the option to save or open this file. I have done both but the end result is a message stating that Windows cannot open files without knowing what program created it. It then suggests I 1, use website to find the program or 2, select program from a list (that is not provided) Anyway, I get as far as a website called cknow.com but damned if I know what to do from there and by then I seem so far away from my original objective (to view R2K's videos) that I just give up. I really would appreciate some help from someone in the know. TIA, Walt (Win)
he uploads them as bit torrents. http://www.bitcomet.com/ get a program such as bit comet and you'll be able to download and play the videos.
and after you download it using your bittorrent program...you will need the xvid codec to view the files. google "xvid binary""koepi" I also recommend using a real video player... Windows Player Classic is sweet Winamp will easily handle them Bs Player is also a good player Avoid Real PLayer and Quicktime like the plague
First off, many thanks for the help so far. I am currently downloading bitcomet. It's taken over an hour and on-going but I have dial up, so hopefuly that is not a sign of things going wrong. My antivirus stuf will barely let me click on to a home-makers website much less let me add software, but fingers are crossed. R2k, I am completely in the dark regarding 'xvid codec'. I take it xvid binary koepi is also something/ or what allows me to access what I need to download? I think I'm covered with real video player and windows player. Not sure if it is 'classic' however. Thanks again for the help; I can't wait to see the video you have been so kind to supply. Win
haha, if you are downloading on dial up, I wouldn't even bother with trying to download the videos. It would take forever.
he's got a point there...you might want to just resign yourself to checking out the highlight clips since the full game torretns are ~700M It takes 6-8 hours on highspeed to get those on average...I shudder to imagine what it would take on dialup. codec necessary http://www.koepi.org/XviD-1.0.3-20122004.exe Windows media classic http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/guliverkli/mpc2kxp6484.zip?download (for 2K/XP) http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/guliverkli/mpc98me6484.zip?download (Win9x)
