Folks, NYC/NJ folks? I'm in NYC, Time Warner Cable Manhattan. The game is supposed to be on channel 30, but the freakin' YES Network has an old Yankees/Sox game on. Does anyone know what channel the Rockets/Nets game is on??? I never get to see Rockets games, and if I miss this because they want to rebroadcast Pedro getting rocked, five years ago, I'm going to flip out.
thanks, they just now put it on YES. I don't know what the &%$ happened that the needed to make me miss the first 8 minutes of the game to watch the first inning of a 5 year old Yankees game. Anyway, thanks, peace.
I'm not in NYC, but I have watched the game from tipoff on YES. Mark Jackson's comments on JVG are funny.
I'll make one more comment: Mark Jackson is a very good commentator. He tells it like it is. His comments about the Rockets and the Nets are right on the money. It isn't fluff, nonsense and cliches and he isn't afraid to say what his team is doing wrong (and naming players). The Rockets should buy him away from Yes and bring him to the Rockets.
I agree Mark Jackson is very good. But LOL at Jackson praising the Nets for "holding" the Rockets to 83 points. Uh, Mark there's still another quarter to play.

I was in exactly the same boat. I've been pumped for watching this game for days, get home, sink my teeth into a fat juicy hamburger, and wait for the game to start. And then the Yankees and Red Sox? From like 5 years ago? Man I was pissed. Plus, I have NBA League Pass, but they blacked out the game because it was (supposedly) showing on the YES network. I called and chewed out Time Warner for like 20 minutes, and in the middle of my vent-session the game flickered on. Okay, pointless rant, just wanted you to know that I feel your pain...

He criticized VC over and over for not attacking the basket and settling for jumpshots. He blasted JVG pretty hard for putting Yao back in midway in the 4th quarter. His humor over Chuck Hayes shooting FTs made me laugh. I busted out when he said JVG should make a statement by having Hayes shoot the technical foul FT. I could go on and on. Mark Jackson is 10 times better than Clyde. He actually adds insight to the game, doesn't mind criticizing his own team and his humor is funny. I'm not the biggest Marv Albert fan but those two together are solid.
