    Numbers for March:
    Brooks: Average minutes(29.0);FG(34-74); FT(16-22); RB(1.7);AST(5.0) Yao : Average minutes(34.2); FG(36-70); FT(23-26); RB(11.8);AST(3.2)
    Lowry : Average minutes(22.8); FG(13-27); FT(15-18); RB(2.4);AST(4.2)

    Questions:
    1) Why Brooks has taken more shots than Yao, thoug he has played less minutes than Yao.
    2) How many times have you seen Brooks were simply looking for his own shots than passing?
    3) How many times have you seen Brooks being a defense liability and exploited by other guards?
    4) Give Lowry the same minutes, he would have better numbers than Brooks in every category.

Both players have their defensive issues. Landry is a better passer off the dribble, and good at drawing fouls. Brooks is a better shooter, and quicker on his feet on both ends.

I'm fine with Aaron starting for now. It's working pretty well for us, all things considered.

The only problem i have with Rick Adelman is...why didn't he put Lowry in giving the opportunity to do so during a timeout and knowing that Brooks had been beaten by Billups and knowing that we need to maintain our lead...why the f*** Rick Adelman keep having Brooks guarding Billups...?? Only until the very last minute, THEN he put Lowry in...isn't that a little too late..hello?? And it's not just this game, i was mad in some other games too...he keep doing the same shyt for no apparent reason. He's a coach and he should know better strategy wise.

bad time to start this topic especially since brooks had a pretty good game today.

Look at the spurs, Tony Parker looks for his shot even though he plays with Duncan.

Whenever you have a 7 ft. center, you need a scoring PG to take the pressure off him. Sometimes I would hope Lowry would be more aggressive and look for his shot more. Brooks is doing a fine job of running the point and I hope he keeps looking for his shot. We need Brooks to be a monster offensively if we want to go far.

    1. We won the game
    2. Adelman has us third in the WC with serious injuries throughout the year
    3. Maybe Adelman knows a little bit more about basketball then some of us on this board?

Carl Landry .. Kyle Lowry ... those names are too similar.

Adelman is just loyal to Brooks, because he has been a Rocket longer than Lowry. Considering they are in the same class of rankings. He is probably just being more loyal to Brooks and also because Brooks knows the playbook much more.

Lowry is clearly the better playmaker, but I'm guessing he just wants to be loyal.

A change might occur next season though, I don't know. Maybe Rick won't even be working here next season.

Parker also averages close to 7 assists per game. There's a difference between looking for your shot and developing tunnel vision. There's been too many times where brooks just puts his head down and drives into a defender only to get swatted with 2 open rockets on the wings. If we want to go far, we need a PG who can actually put the team first over his own desire to chuck as much as possible.

I actually thought AB was good tonite and more of the threat against Billups.
Im starting to thing that the ROX need to just have a 2-headed PG...who starts depends on who we're playing.

Probably true, but since he got here, Lowry's been the better shooter of the two.

Field goal percentage, and efficiency in general, between Parker and AB is like night and day.

Even a blind man can see that this team needs AB to score and create his own shots. And this high pick and roll with Yao is starting to look really good.

I like Lowry and what he brings to the table as well, but we need AB to create shots.

    Disagree whole-heartedly

I'm sick of Parker/AB comparation. First, Partker sets up teammates way better, 2nd, Parker is a way better finisher. Brooks need to learn how to set up others first.

I can't understand when both Lowry and AB are on the court, why AB is still the primary ball handler. It should be Lowry, AB can play like a SG.

Is that why Deke gets so much PT?
