Not unless we do well in the FA market. The West had 8 solid playpoff teams last year and I think Dallas is ready to take Sac out of the #8 slot. Seatlle may also be vulnerable, but I think Dallas, Sacramento & Seattle all appear to be at least as good as us, if not better. ------------------

Teams that will definitely be better than us: Lakers, Portland, Phoenix, Seattle, Minnesota, Utah Teams that are better than us right now but could get destroyed in free agentcy: San Antonio, Sacramento Teams that are knocking on the playoffs door: Dallas, Houston Wildcard (somewhere in between): Vancouver, Denver, Clippers Eddy Curry time! (guranteed lottery pick): Golden St. We do have a shot at the playoffs but it will probably have to take Sacramento losing its free agents and maybe even Webber and San Antonio losing Duncan. ------------------
