From this year, we saw how Seattle and Golden State were very close to making playoff bids. I feel that they will be better next year, especially with Ray Allen getting acustomed to the new teama and Golden state getting experience. Also, the Nuggets (along with their lottery pick) will have heaps of room for free agents and I am afraid that the Grizzlies will also improve (Jason Williams is stepping up). I try to be optimistic but it doesn't look good for the Rockets. We have too many overpaid guys, we have like 30 million tied up on the bench and we don't get a 1st round pick. If Rockets want to make a serious playoff bid, we need some changes or a significant improvement from our players. Yao needs to get ALOT stronger and start being more aggressive Griffin needs to step up and develope an inside game Francis needs to go to the two guard or he finally gets it but he knows he won't get his stats as a successful point guard Mobley gets traded or comes off the bench we get a pure point guard, Norris won't cut it I am guessing that the Utah won't be back since Stockton and Malone are out but if they also have alot of room for free agents. Mavs, Kings, Lakers, Suns, Blazers (too much talent), Spurs are almost guaranteed to be playoff teams (granted no injuries or anything God-related happens) The playoff run for the Rockets next year is going to be a tough one. Teams are rebuilding and teams are getting better, but the Rockets seem to be at a standstill. BTW with our 2nd round pick, we should sign Steve Blake Go Terps!
