I know there is the Magic Numbers thread so based on that and your own opinions.... What's the seed they will clinch? IMO, they'll finish in 4th.
4th sounds about right. I think Utah will slip into 3rd... at least that means we won't face them until conference finals!
aren't you technically jinxing them by saying they won't make the playoffs -- or worse 1 and done again? I believe you need to re-think your approach on this one.
I have a gut feeling that again will have the 5th seed because the Lakers, Jazz and Spurs are almost a lock for 1 till 3. We should definetly be able to get number 4 but we have such a brutal schedule that I see the Blazers, Nuggets or Hornets grabbing the 4th seed.
If Utah gets the 3rd seed after passing Denver, I doubt they would go far in the playoffs. That means Portland/Denver in the 1st Round, and very likely SA matchup in 2nd. They won't beat SA or the Lakers.
we could still get 5th with homecourt advantage, as long as we secure HCA I think we can get out of Round 1
1st - lakers 2nd - spurs 3rd - jazz 4th - rockets 5th - hornets 6th - nuggets 7th - blazers 8th - mavs sounds about right?
Similarly, but more importantly, to the previous years, I think it is mostly crucial that we get homecourt advantage, and finish in the top four seeds. We are two completely different teams when compared to at home and on the road. Honestly, as long as we finish with fourth or above, we're fine. We could frankly finish 5th and be decent, but not as in good shape, but this is only if we do not play the Jazz because they simply have our number (as well as the refs) at home
dwill and cp3 going at it in a seven game series... yep i feel ya. denver be strugglin though but who knows. 4-7 seeds are honestly up for grabs. i just went by how the teams are doing these days ;p
I think it'll be the same as last year. #5 seed and we're playing #4 Utah. Spurs at #2, Hornets at #3.
