I think our first game will be Sat. April 23, but I can't find a schedule anywhere.

Does anyone know how the games are scheduled for the first round?

I assume, Sat. Mon. Wed. Fri.? First four games?

The NBA hasn't released the schedule, especially since the seedings aren't locked up yet.

I'm pretty sure the first round is in the 2-2-1-1-1 format.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. It seems like last year we only played every 3 or 4 days. Damn NBA trying to get as much tv revenue as they can.

Last year it seems like it went Saturday-Tuesday-Friday-Sunday-Wednesday.

First game will be Saturday or Sunday. We will only have one game during the week (2 games a night Monday through Thursday to maximize TV revenue) and will then play Friday and Sunday (if we played Saturday) or just on Saturday (if we played Sunday) the weekend of 4/30.

It is all about the TV revenue.

Yep, all rounds are 2-2-1-1-1 until the Finals, which are 2-3-2.

I think I remember hearing something about Stern saying he was going to speed up the first round a little bit this year. No idea if I am imagining things or he will follow through with what he said, however...

I hope so. Going to be out of town the 29th through May 1st. Hope there is at least 1 game mid-week next week so I can go.

Anybody know if all the games will be on TNT, ESPN, and ESPN2? I don't get NBA TV and I think I remember them showing some games on NBATV last year?

AFAIK, all of the games should be telecast on one of the cable networks. This coming weekend should see double and tripleheaders on ABC with a late game on TNT or ESPN.

I think our first playoff game at home will most likely be next Thurs or Friday night.

I already got my game tix to Game A, im digging the clutch city t shirts from the closet and readying them for another title run!

I havent been this excited about the playoffs since 97.

I dont care who we play, with T-Mac we can beat anybody.
