    Congratulations playoff teams

    First round matchups will be:

    Red Sox (92-69)
    Cleveland Indians (106-55)

    Athletics (98-63)
    evilYankees (105-56)

    Diamondbacks (92-69)
    Astros (108-53)

    Braves (97-64)
    Cubs (98-63)

Congratulations especially to Nomar's BoSox. They trailed by 5 games a weak out, then won 7 straight while the Mariners lost 5 straight to end the season.

    Other notable teams:
    Marlins (93-68)
    St. Louis (95-66)
    Colorado (89-72)
    Toronto (88-73)
    Minnesota (87-74)
    Seattle (91-70)

    Get ready for the draft:

Los Angeles 63-98 (4th worst overall)

    Get ready for free agency:

Oakland, should have moare than 60 million to sign free agents.

Several records were broken, including McGwire's record of 70 homers. Barry Bonds hit 72.

Incidentally, I'll begin simming the playoffs today. I'll make sure that anybody has a chance to alter their rosters after two games, however.

Also, we won't have the completely crazy pace of last year's final series.

I take it home field is determined strictly by record? It could prove pivotal in the evenly matched Atlanta-Chicago series.

Hmmmm, I'm afraid I only have one change of note.

Please make my starting rotation this :

    1) Mike Mussina
    2) Curt Schilling
    3) Joe Mays
    4) Chan Ho Park.

Other than that, please keep everything the same as it has been.

Incidentally, we've simmed two games. We'll finish the FIRST series tonight. Won't start the second.

If you want changes, post them in the next hour or so.

The site is updated. All series are at 1-1 except eNY - Oak, which is 2-0
