Playoff Harden has superior PER, better TS%, higher FG%/3-point FG% and more assists than Curry.

Your daily reminder that Los Pollos Hermanos is one of the dumbest people in the Seven Kingdoms. and this board.

Gotta factor in the terrible defense too instead of just the offensive numbers. We aren't having issues scoring we are having difficulty stopping the other team.

He hasn't been bad at all. Our defense is what's been bad.

Oh man...good thing you saved us from the lack of threads discussing this.

Also, I appreciate the leg humping...and believe me...based on the uninformed crap you spew (like trying to convince people Harden is having a better postseason run than Curry) plenty can be said.

I mean, I'm one of the biggest Harden fans, but I'd have a very hard time keeping a straight face while trying to convince someone Harden has been better than Curry in the playoffs. Its just idiotic. Stop now before your delusion manifests in other ways. Its like the idiot from the other thread trying to use last game's stats to tell people Harden did good when a lot of that was amassed in garbage time.

For the record, I can't stand Curry or the Warriors, like most people---so that says a lot about your stupid thread.

Not sure what this thread was started in reference to, but I agree. Harden has been better than Curry so far this post season. Not by a lot, but not exactly close either.

    Really?

Playoff Harden is, gasp, once again a drop-off from regular season Harden. Same song, different verse. If you look back through the tape, you would realize, not even looking at defense, that his offense was sub-par for 2 games, and 3 quarters of the 2nd game. Garbage time in the 1st and 3rd game do not count, and is skewing his statistics. His game 2 was nice; I'll give you that. His defense makes Steve Nash look like Tony Allen on the perimeter right now. He is making '14 Harden seem like a 1st team All-NBA defender. Fine, I may be exaggerating a bit, but it is embarrassing.

Also, comparing Curry's statistics is irrelevant because he is playing *against* arguably the best defense in the league, while Harden is playing against a very mediocre defense in the Clippers. It's embarrassing that JJ Reddick is putting on his best Tony Allen impersonation against Harden. Give Memphis credit for doing what they do best: play defense, and play it very well.

Please, Los Pollos Hermanos is far from the dumbest people in the "Seven Kingdoms. and this board." Is he a BimaThug? No. But there are not many of those posters around these parts, unfortunately, because idiots run them off.

However, you have risen up near the top of the bad poster chart, thanks to this disgraceful thread and a dumb reference to GoT. Congrats. 1 star thread. 0 star intelligence.

Edit: fixed above, thanks MattM for pointing it out.

Curry is shooting under 40% and 28% from 3 against Memphis. That dude's awesome.

Sorry some of the contributing members are just completely past their prime.

    Look at what jbasket said:

    1) harden is a major drop off from regular season, which.....no not at all. The numbers say otherwise.

Confused by a couple of your assertions,

Curry is playing arguably the best defense in the league? Are you referring to Curry's defense or the Grizzlies.

    Clippers have mediocre defense?
I actually find that their defense at least on the interior is superb. At least they match up well and Houston starts the game either chucking 3,s at the shot clock or forcing it inside and missing layups. I'd like to see 4 consecutive jumpers by Harden to start. Then open up the driving lanes.

    Hmmmm Past our prime....

Amazing how Houston and Golden State are playing this new statistical basketball and they are getting beat by Grind it out play hard defensive teams..

Yes a lot of us OLD TIMERS have been saying this style of basketball will not work in the playoffs... Basically this statistical style is very entertaining, but the playoffs are a different monster and that "AND 1" style of basketball want get you very far in the playoffs.

The Clippers interior defense is insanely good. Deandre is a problem.

Basically what harden haters are saying they want him to do is just start chucking Kobe style. Maybe he should? I mean if our guys aren't going to hit their threes and we are missing DMo.

But then of course he would get called a useless chucker who should facilitate more.

You realize the Warriors are an elite defensive team? Or do you not pay attention at all.

I don't think you know what the Warriors are.

Plus the Grizzlies have Hollinger running their team. You know, one of the kings of analytics?

    You're clueless man.

Numbers lie. Do the eye test and tell me f you see the same playoff Harden as Regular season Harden.

Im a supporter of Harden, look at my sig, that was in the regular season, it doesnt reflect that in any way.

Point is, is you can't look solely at numbers to grade a player, their is a such unquantifiable attribute and that is called intangibles and for whatever reason it's not completely transitioned to the postseason. It is what it is, hopefully he can wake up permanently in time to save this series but it's questionable at best right now.

You don't shoot from the outside just to be shooting....

Let the game come to you... Take what the defense is giving, play smart, have your teammates move and cut instead of just standing in one spot making it easy for the defense not to make any adjustments.

    Just a public service announcement:

The Golden State Warriors were the number one defensive team all season long. Start to finish.

    ROLFMAO....

The Grizz are not the greatest offense and they are making the Warriors look stupid...

Oh I know... They are playing freaking defense, contesting every shot... rotating big for big... Knocking the crap out of curry on picks, making curry and Thompson chase conley and lee on defense...

It's not about freaking stats about effort and hard work... So your theory of GS being a Juggernaut defensive team is way off base.... You are looking at numbers and coming up with a theory...

STATS DON'T TELL THE WHOLE STORY....

I criticized harden in the Blazers series. He's not playing like he did last season in that series. fact. He's much better.

The truth is until he gets more help it will be hard for him to carry us alone. Other guys HAVE to step up.
