Well, As mentioned in the other thread (jeez, all these threads make me look like a troll) we're going to change the playoffs. Please vote for the option you desire. We'll do this strictly on the basis of popular majority. If it's not possible via the engine, the 2nd favorite option will be selected.
Changes? Hot damn. I do not like changes. I like authenticity. Crap on all of you who want changes. Well I put in my vote, even if I understand it might be to late. Morons.
heath: That's the same option I voted for. My least favorite option is winning . I've never seen more than 6 playoff worthy teams in either league. So, the 8 team thing is, imo just far too much.
I voted for 8. I didn't think hard enough. I wasn't aware that this year, that would put a currently below .500 team in the playoffs. I don't like that. I know I can't do this in the poll itself, but my vote has changed to the 6 team option.
I know this probably won't get any support at all, but I still think it would be interesting if the league was set up like the NBA if we went 16 team playoffs. Of course no DH would be allowed in either league... Western Conference Midwest 1. St. Louis 2. Houston 3. Colorado 4. Detroit 5. Texas 6. Austin 7. Minnesota 8. Mexico City Pacific 1. Portland 2. Anaheim 3. Las Vegas 4. Seattle 5. Arizona 6. Dodgers 7. San Francisco 8. Hawaii Eastern Conference Atlantic 1. New York Mets 2. New York Yankees 3. Boston 4. Tampa Bay 5. Richmond 6. Memphis 7. Baltimore 8. Toronto Central 1. Atlanta 2. Milwaukee 3. Pittsburgh 4. Cleveland 5. Cincy 6. Chicago Cubs 7. Chicago White Sox 8. New Orleans
I used to hate the DH. But, over the past few seasons with Frank Thomas I have learned that a DH is a beautiful thing. And, a pitcher has no business batting if he hits below .220.
