I thought we'd keep one thread open to discuss the Rockets playoff threats and how they did in they're last game or how they'll do in the next game(s). This way, we won't see a new Suns/GS thread every single day. Let's just keep this updated with the Rockets' and other bubble teams' progress.

Here's Phoenix's schedule:

@San Antonio
Portland
Minnesota
@Golden State
Sacramento
@Houston
Toronto
Utah
Washington
@Dallas
Seattle
@Memphis
@Detroit
@Indiana

Here's Golden State's schedule:

Indiana
@Chicago
@Milwaukee
@Detroit
Phoenix
Dallas
@Seattle
@Sacramento
Seattle
Houston
Washington
@Cleveland
@Boston
@Philadelphia
@New Jersey

Here's Houston's schedule:

@ DET
@ TOR
NJN
LAC
CHI
PHO
@ SEA
@ POR
@ GSW
@ SAC
@ LAC
LAL
@ SAS
DEN
@ NJN
@ MIL
@ PHI
ORL
POR
@ UTH
SEA
MEM
@ DEN

Putting down those schedules, it looks to me like the Suns are going to get hammered in the next 6 games, so if the Rockets ca even win 3 of the next 3, they will take #8.

Phoenix play at San Antonio tonight, and Golden State play Indiana next.

Thoughts?

If we win 23 of the next 23, I guarantee Rox are a lock for at least the 8th spot. Maybe.

It's funny to think that despite the Rockets playing like absolute trash for the past monthj and a half, they could be right back in the playoffs TONIGHT!

Watch the Rockets lose to Detroit and Phoenix beat the Spurs...

When was the last time we had a 3 or more game winning streak?

We should track on Seattle too. They are having a tear after the Payton-Allen trade.

Suns beat the Spurs 104-97

And the Rockets playoff hopes continue to dwindle away...

Correct me if I'm wrong but if the Rockets beat the Suns and Warriors the next time they play, they effectively gain 2 games on both because in the event that they tied for the last playoff spot, the Rockets would go having won both season series with GS and PHX. Right?

IF

I wouldn't bet on this heartless piece of **** team to beat my 11 year-old niece's team, much less the Suns or Warriors.

They suck ass.

Stephon puts up 40 some odd points last game and had another 35 against the Spurs while Francis goes cold the last two games. To make the playoffs we need to have are superstar step up.... Looks like its slipped away.

A big IF, but those are must-must-win games if the Rockets have any chance of making the playoffs.

The Rockets would have to beat the Suns twice to be tied with them because they're currently 2 games behind them.

Starbury shot 12-14 FGs, and 6-6 3pts FGs :eek:

And it's not like he was ballhogging, with 13 assts he created tonite

As a team, they shot 39-66 FGs and 10-13 3pts FGs overall.

And those shots were thrown with a palm on their face, and twin tower in the paint.

Those Suns are HOT and playing with desire and the sense of URGENCY

Big PROPS to them, though i must say that kinda shooting touch wouldn't happen in regularity:cool:

Starbury had showed that he could led his team beating NBA hottest test team on enemy ground.

Could you say the same with your "Franchise" ?

It's all caving in, Seattle, Golden State and Phoenix all won. Golden State plays Chicago next.

We better start making a run.

you know, i just realized, that you always hear about other teams getting hot and the hottest teams...I have yet to hear about the Rockets being hot from any outlet or fan. we hear about the big wins like in Utah and Lakers and Phoenix on a back to back...but never hear about the Rockets winning 5,6,7 in a row...

Ahhhhhhh.......of course, that is because we have not done this in 5 freakin years...this is a probingly disturbing trend!
