    The Dodgers have been perpetually loaded for a decade, it was only a matter of time before they broke through again. I loathe the franchise, but they really are picture perfect example of not just spending stupid amounts of money of FA, but also spending it on peak organizational infrastructure. They will still be loaded for at least a few more seasons, but they aren't unbeatable, no team is in this sport. It's just the nature of the baseball postseason.

    I do look forward to how the Yankees try to spin this one to blame on the 2017 Astros. The NL just was better this season, by a fair amount. This Yankee team was probably the best in the AL, and still not that good.
