What Texans to do think could transition to a different position.

Mainly I am still trying to answer the question . . .
Could Kareem Jackson transition to Free Safety?

Can Amobi transistion to a different position on the line?

Some of these player may need to be recycled.

I think Quinn could play safety

Pollard could be an OLB in a 3-4

Jackson might develop into a pretty nice nickel db he seems to have good instincts when the ball is in the air he just is not a shutdown put him on one side of the field db

Kareem to FS. He is not a coverage CB. The sooner we realize this, the better off this team will be in the future.

Barwin to OLB. Anything over Zac Diles at this point.

Pollard ILB in a Cowher 3-4. Tough, physical tackler with decent coverage skills.

Jackson has to be moved to safety because he will never be an NFL cornerback.

Amobi is just not an NFL player, there is no other position for him.

There is no reason to move quin from corner

Pollard I could see being moved to linebacker if they could somehow improve the SS position. I would not want to see Pollard off the field, he could very well play LB, especially in a 4-3.

I don't agree with any of y'alls suggestions except for Barwin to OLB.

Okoye may be a good DE in a 3-4.
    Mario should be a LDE.
The starting CBs could all make great street FAs.

No way in hell. He is too small to play DT in a 4-3, there is no way he could play DE in a 3-4

Gary Kubiak from HC to Head Janitor. He needs to clean up the giant turd that he's left behind the past 5 years.

What makes people think Barwin could successfully switch to a 3-4 olb?

He was considered a "tweener" coming out of college. He was a former tight end and should be a good enough athlete to transition and play in space as a 3-4 outside linebacker. Frankly, I am far more concerned about Mario in a 3-4 than anyone else.
