Hey, guys. If anyone of you Austinites feel like seeing a cool band Saturday, my band, orange is in is playing at Momo's in Austin. The show is early starting at 8 and we play for an hour opening for someone. Being as it is our first gig in Austin, it would be nice to have at least a few people come out to see us. Momo's is upstairs from Katz' Deli (it never closes, I gotta tell ya!).
Oh, and almost forgot. If anyone is free tonight, we're playing at the Continental Club here in Houston on Main Street.

Went to a sorority crush there last semester. It's 18+. Jeff- I've got a prior engagement, but if it falls through, I'll definitely try and make it out.

Their onstage sound Wednesday was crapola as apparently was the sound offstage. The monitors sucked and at random times things like the acoustic guitar and violin would completely disappear from them. Try playing violin in a rock band when you can't hear yourself! Plus, they didn't DI the bass so people kept asking why they couldn't hear me at all. Yikes. I like the club and all, but the sound left a LOT to be desired on Wednesday, unfortunately.
There is nothing worse than a beautiful PA system/onstage sound with an idiot running it. They didn't DI your bass?!?!?!? Un-freaking-believable. I'm very sorry, Jeff.
I know. I was really surprised. When I couldn't hear the violin or whatever, I'd look out at the sound board and the guy would be over at the bar. I'm like, WTF??? I am going to see Arc Angels there in a couple weeks though. Can't wait. Original lineup.
One question... Did you do a jig? The original line-up? When and where? I was huge on this band in college.
