Which Squads do you think will work best together

    Fancis
    Mobley
    Ming
Penetrate and Dish at it's best imo

The Real question for me mostly is Front Court

Francis - Mobley - Rice - Mot [most folx thing will start] and Ming

Rice is a jump shooter now and Mo T is to an extent is too
I don't see a significant post presences [until mings gets some
    strength]

I think that Improves my replacing Mo with Griff or KT
I don't know Nachbar's game so i cannot say much on it

    But

Francis - Mobley - nachbar - Griff and Ming
    looks potent in 2~3 pentrators
    Two good post men
    and Great shooting

Defense is something i'm not sure about either

So Who will be a best Defensive unit?
Who will be our best Offensive Unit?

    Debate on

    Rocket River
Texans Win . . and Basketball season is about to start
    LIFE IS GOOD!:D

i think steve, cat, kt, moT, cato will work well together. they have the most experiance together. all 3 front court players can set a good screen for the guards. both fowards can knock down a jumper if the guards need to kick it out.

then: mooch (likes to slow it down, ill give him some post players), griff, yao, and a couple of shooters incase the clock runs down, boki and rice.

    I prefer Steve--cat--Lewis--K.T--Ming,

and Griffin can substitute Rashard or K.T

    PG Steve
    SG Cat-------Lewis
    SF Lewis----Nachbar-----Griffin
    PF K.T-------Griffin---------K.T
    C Yao

    just trade Rice & Mo.T !!!!!

Its just not going to happen! So lets work with what we have, its very difficult to know how they will mesh.Just remember that our Game Plan must change from last year, now that we have a defensive and offensive presence in the Center. The first thing to go is Dribble Mania and Norris taking 9secs to get over the line. Passing must improve and everyone will need to improve their assists. My starting 5 in the first few games would be Francis, Mobley,Griffin,KT ,Yao Ming. then Francis, Mobley,Rice,Taylor, Yao Ming After 20gms. things will sort themselves out............
Francis, Mobley, Nachbar, Griffin & Yao Ming. KT will play backup SmF/PF Rice will play backup SG/SmF Taylor will play 1st backup PF, Cato backup Center. The line should change depending on the makeup of the opponent. Thats if Rudy becomes flexible and the players dont object.

I think the best unit on both defence and offence will be

    Steve
    Eddie
    Cat
    Yao
    Boki

That makes the Rocks having 1 of the best bench's in the NBA

and i am so GLAD we dont have a 16 pt a game no defence player like Lewis ( he would kill this team )......

It will take a while for Ming to fit in. This is because the last 2 years, we have been way too perimeter-oriented. I know Ming likes to shoot from outside, but I want him inside. Hopefully Francis will throw some lobs in Ming's direction like he does for Cato (yikes). That is the one time that Francis looks like a PG, when he is able to set Cato up with easy dunks, but Cato fumbles the ball away.

I don't know where you're getting the idea that Oscar is a better defender than Mobley...

And for the end of the game, the most crucial time, you'd take out our only two solid scorers in Mobley and Francis and put in a rookie and a struggling OT?

I think he is a little better. I think Cat can play defense, when he puts his mind and skills to it.

Oscar has more height and reach. He also seams to relish the defensive role more, IMO. I think Rudy has molded him that way too.

Last seconds play- end of game type stuff. Few seconds left. Where you don't need to score, you just need to stop.

Are you saying Griffin is one of our 2 best post players?
I don't remember seeing Griffin post up at all last year. I think he was either spotting up for 3's or facing the basket. Not much posting up.

I think Steve, Cat, Eddie, Rice and Cato to start. A little bit of everything in that lineup.
